Eh you said the story was bad. That's all that matters.

the most important part of a game is the GAMEplay

I hack through most games just for the story. Gameplay is important but not necessary to me.

Now on the other hand there are games I only play for the gameplay, but those are almsot all puzzle games.

I love games, I just enjoy them differently than you.

Finally got a friend to start the first Bioshock. Only three full games until I can finally stop worrying about spoiling the ending to Infinite.

Lately I find myself agreeing with everything you say CL

I have played Bioshock 1 and 2, and I think it'll be a while until I can play Infinite, so I can relate. Sometimes spoilers jump at you from the least expected places on the interwebs.

By the way, many people tried to convince me to skip Bioshock 2, they kept telling me its terrible and I should just skip it and play Infinite. DON'T DO IT. While it's not as cool as Bioshock was when it came out, I still liked it a lot. It's a little too shootery and story takes a while to pick up, but it's well worth playing imo. Also, the Minerva's Den DLC - which I yet have to play - is finally free from the evil grip of gfwl and apparently it's very good.

Final Fantasy VIII is released on Steam now. Despite being my second lest liked Final Fantasy, I'm still kinda psyched to be able to cloud it...

In an amazing turn of events, I played a game for once.
The Stanley Parable is significantly better than I expected it to be, and I already had high expectations. It is at some times a bit too much of a railroad, but otherwise great.

That's kinda the point though. Even though you're controlling him, the game is controlling you, etc. I loved it. Have you gotten all the endings? I can get you a list of their names or something if you want to check them off.

Hint: there's 19 endings.

I only played through it thrice, so no, I haven't.

Hint: some endings you are not led to and are pretty secrety, a couple endings don't actually end the game, at least one ending is rng based.
