On a serious note, it was funny for a little while, but now can we stop making directly abrasive threads in the wotc forum?

First of all, it's just mean, and you guys technically don't use it anymore. Making more of these threads would be like devilwuster completely erasing the bugs list with aforementioned flash advertisement. People still use that site, people with no affiliation to wotc.
Second, it reflects bad on the community you are advertising to completely disrupt another forum, no matter how much you hate the mods.

And yes, you're out of line. Your presumption is bad enough, the fact that it's also easily construed as accusatory is not appreciated.

Woah man, I think you need to cool off. Mjack did nothing wrong here at all and your jumping down his throat for it. I would say Mjack isn't the one out of line here at all.

As I see it, he did wait. You made the first thread, which regardless of content you knew would annoy the mods there. HE just asked you to not do it again, and even if you aren't upset, you did jump down his throat for it. Let's just all take a step back and look at other threads.

To be honest, it was simply his choice of words."Stop doing it" suggested that he felt I was still either in the process of making more threads or planning to at a later time.
When Neo pointed out that the thread went away, I didn't have time to see what happened, so I said I'd deal with it later. When I did deal with it, I merely sent a message.

It may be semantics (or whatever), but I guess I would have responded to mjack differently if I saw his message as "don't do anything bad" rather than "stop doing bad things". My initial reaction was to a cease and desist, not cautionary advice.
If that's what he was going for, I overstepped, but at the time that wasn't the message on my screen.

Anyway, yeah. I most certainly have no intention of holding anything against mjack, I'm not the type. So he can rest easy on that at least.

from my point of view, going there to start a discution with them for our rights is good, but dont get me wrong, that is only give attention to a forum that deserves none. how many times did we complain and they actually did something in that direction?

I think it was time to "finally move on". I did not want to leave the old forums and hung on as long as I could...I think longer than most. After finally coming to this forum it was quite shocking how much better this place was as a whole. I think it was you who originally found it devil? You did a great job. You have my thanks for finding this place. I guess I just didn't want to lose what we had been working on for so long. It is surprising how well this transition has worked and been successful. I also want to thank the moderators for actually caring about the people, like us, in this community (as well as giving us a place to live! ;P). I certainly feel this place has a bright future ahead and I look forward to being a part of it!

If I remember right it was Sarah who pm'd me about the site.
After joining and checking it out for a few days, then going back to WOTC for a little while it didn't take long for me to realize I had been given a mission to complete.

I'm so glad everyone is enjoying it here!
