Game 2 Early on, we had a disconnect and it wasn't clear who DCed from whom, so we restarted it.

Defeats the purpose of the spoiler if I can't get to the video links without seeing the results.

Hey how do you guys prevent your Twitch videos from being chopped up into several parts? Is it because I'm going to dashboard in the middle of games ? Does that cause a break in the recording ?

Heads up XBoners!

Rules change that affects streamers and quality of life.

"If you do stream your match via Twitch.tv, I would prefer that you either minimize the chat window or minimize Twitch for the match, but no one is required to do so by any rules. I realize many players (and audience members as well) like to interact during the match, and that is great. However, if I feel there is a perception of coaching and/or cheating, the player will be punished accordingly.

Remember, this is a free, fun, tournament. Let the players play, stay out of your opponents Twitch stream, and stay out of their decision making.
"

Update is on the OP. Feel free to discuss change. Understand that if this gets abused and I get "OMG, my opponents are getting coached/stream sniping is happening, etc...", I'm going to go high and right to fix the issue.

If you're streaming directly from your Xbox, disconnecting from any game client will automatically disconnect you from the twitch stream. So if you're going to dashboard to let's say...refresh Magic Duels...then yes it would disconnect your twitch stream.

Its annoying as hell but hey, what ARE we gonna do?

But i'm not disconnecting from the game client, I am multitasking to another app within Xbox One temporarily (to see if opponent is online, etc). is it disconnecting me from Twitch? Cuz when I go back into Magic, the twitch stream is still going. I don't know what the user experience is like for the viewers, however. Do they get kicked or does it just temporarily go to that stupid Owl/Cat clock until i get back?

Hitting the guide button or bringing up the side tab will show a pause screen to viewers, but it shouldn't interrupt the stream unless Magic is no longer the main program being run (full screen in the background or main window in the dashboard). Clearly you're doing technology wrong somehow.

edit: oh, you replied. The answer to your question is they see the owl and clock. I was thinking your stream showed up as fragmented individual videos on the website and not one long video like it should.
