I'm torn. I'm getting Breya, Saskia, and Atraxa, and I really love Breya no matter how much of a laundry list she is (though for being the non-BLUE one I oddly think Saskia is the tactically deepest. Lot of work to decide on the Mark o' Pain), but I already do so much with Sydri and Feldon.

There must be more to do with Breya, there must be something new and fascinating that I haven't done with NotGreen artifacts already. I'd say Energy, but Atraxia is going to be my Energy-generating commander with her constant proliferation and inclusion of energy's second best color, Green. Naturally, Breya likes smashing her own artifacts, but my Feldon deck already does so much of that, with something of a 'recursion' engine. I'm thinking maybe I'll get some sort of trigger cascade going..

So at the end of the day we can more or less agree that Ishai and Akiri are probably the greatest missing opportunities that should have been filled with more invocative people.

My money is on Feather for Akiri and Agnomakhos for Ishai.

As nice it would be for there to be a Feather card, that would mean yet another RW angel. Also, Theros is over-represented this go-around.

WU could be Thaddeus and/or Agnate, or Tawnos.

RW pairing could be Sharp-Ear, Takara, or Kiel.

I think Keil's got more of a chance than my boy Sharp-Eye. Sadly, given how reluctant WOTC is to go back to Kami and all. Takara seems like one of the more minor characters from the Weatherlight saga - I'd look at big players like Xantcha or Ratepe as potential legends.

I am confused

I'm not as much of a fan of the little guy as the rest of community, but now that I'm reminded of Massacre Girl I do want her on a card.

Oh man somehow I'd missed the full reveal of the Basics. I personally think each set has a somewhat weaker entry (Guay's forest, Poole and Walker's mountains IMO) but even those are at least distinctive. The Walker plains is really gorgeous with those carved stone faces and while I'm inclined towards Guay's work in general I have to say I particularly like the Swamp. But in any case I can now legitimately build an All-Rebecca-Guay deck so I'm happy. Also happy to see that WotC will still talk to her, she's been out of the rotation since what, Alara? I think she had a few scattered pieces in the Magic 20XX core sets but I can't rightly recall what the latest NEW piece is.

I may not be happy with some of the creative decisions that went into this round of decks, but dear god, the mechanics and reprints look absoluetly brilliant!

You can tell they really, really wanted to make people happy there and provide as many options as they could. Good job! I think I'm probably going to buy the non-green deck, I really want to get my hands on Hanna among other things. Wait, that came out wrong. Or did it?
