We're currently on game 2. I barely bested the Blackest of Barneys in game 1. Largely due to nut draws and "Heart of the Card" draws which would make Yu Gi blush.

I think he's the same on xbox. No need to chase, though. If he doesn't contact you in 24 hrs he can challenge when he comes around. Just sayin, Vert seems ready to go in his place.
