Civilization "Lets steal all of amplitude's ideas and take credit for shaking up the genre" 6? Yeah, nah.

Kind of rude to claim that Amplitude have only ever had one idea, isn't it?

Looks similar enough to civ 5 that i will enjoy it a lot.

IMHO, it was damn good.

CIV 6 tech tree fails logic/consistency test brutally. YOU CAN DISCOVER RADIO WITHOUT ELECTRICITY, OR SCIENTIFIC THEORY WITHOUT BASIC ENGINEERING.
(in fact teches that lead to the Theory IRL did little to advance it, and mechanical physics did most .)

Well, no. We are talking not about engineering as calculation, material science, blueprints etc, no. In CIV 6 you can discover scientific theory without advacing futher then WHEELS. Wooden wheels.
Scientific METHOD can be, tho.

NO. NO WAY. Radio is a VERY complicated technology that relies on technical aspects of electromagnetism. You can't do it accidently, and even if you can, you can't replicate.
Moreover, the whole "telegraph" step was skipped.

I don't know how I keep convincing myself I like civ games when I demonstrably don't.
