There's too much salt in food these days to possibly be healthy. With that said, salt is delicious.

I never liked the taste of any meat. Or fish. Chicken was the only one I was able to tolerate.

I don't get liking cars. Outside of driving them to get from place A to place B, I see no point further in them. So I don't get people who look at car photos or read car magazines or have pictures of cars as their desktop background.

I too am not a big meat fan. I like some meats, but most of the time what I really like is the seasoning. I'm more of a fruit person.

I'm not real big into cars either. I find driving to be boring. I can appreciate a few models of car as art objects, but beyond that they're all just cars to me.

Huh. Ground beef pizza is amazing. Hard for me to think of things people might be surprised by. . . Have to view myself from the perspective of a forum with which I have limited interaction.

For those who know me well enough, it may surprise you that I actually like some movies that aren't about explosions and/or Nic Cage. Some David Lynch movies (oh wait, one of those had NC - one of the best ones too. Mostly because NC. And Willem. So creepy and hawt.), um, Seventh Seal. Mostly cause I love Seal. Kiss from a Rose. Crazy.

Also, I like more humans than most would estimate.

Also, I looks like I forgot a word in the thread title. I hate misspelling things, but that's not surprising.

I'm a big fan of garnishing soup with a bit of balsamic vinegar. really gives it a nice bite, especially with stuff like lentil soup

Ugh. IMO balsamic vinegar is among the worst "foods" ever created. It tastes like snot and death and is capable of single-handedly rendering an otherwise delicious meal inedible.

I agree to balsamic vinegar reductions being among the worst. A little balsamic can be okay, but the reductions are horrid.

I find myself surprised by Pablo's last statement
Also, I like more humans than most would estimate.

Does Pablo presume that we believe him to be a hateful person or a hermit? Or is he perhaps just an abnormally social individual?Edit- Apparently I've been like quad or penta ninja'd. That doesn't flow quite as well with all that balsamic vinegar between here and there.

In any event, I should add some things I like/dislike: Japan, fashion and the cold.
I both like and dislike Japan. Fascinating society with a penchant for producing wondrous things and an equal penchant for off-putting social practices.
I dislike fashion. The very notion irks me. People putting on airs, highly materialistic, not very meritocratic.
I like cold. Not just cool, but cold. So long as it's not too intense, I find it relaxing. If appropriately waterproofed I could just lie down in a snowbank and take a nap.

I used to do that when I was a kid. It scared the crap out of my parents, apparently.

Heh, I used to go outside without shoes or socks on in the snow for the cold feelings.

Lots of goddamn picky eaters here.

I like really hot sauces. And really hot spices. And I like to have my food loaded with hot peppers.

Thing that surprised me: I like The Butt's dubstep tracks. Well, at least The Jasper Jackhammer and Greasy Jasper Beats. I haven't heard any more, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed the tracks.

Edit: I should rephrase, I'm not much a fan of dubstep at all, so I was surprised I liked The Butt's tracks. I generally don't listen to them at all, but I decided to give his a shot, and I'm glad I did.

Why thank you, good sir. That actually pleases me, that I've managed to make greasy dubstep that appeals to non-dubstep listeners.

I prefer braces to belts.
I don't like jeans.
For most people that interact with me daily, it's probably a surprise I care about clothes at all, and I don't blame them.
