I like that discard warlock is being called discolock.


You just said discard warlock and beast druid are not going to be made things by the cards here. So either 1. they tried to make standard-defining cards for warlock and druid but failed and knew that and then lied about it rather than changing the cards before release or 2. they made cards for casual archetypes and then said that's what they did.

Also, they said they gave the top classes arena and casual cards; that doesn't automatically include the converse of giving bottom classes standard-defining cards.

The idea of making an archetype based around discarding cards is stupid anyway. Nobody gets up in the morning and thinks "I can't wait to discard some cards in the Stone of Hearthing!"

I think they make the cards far in advance and don't tend to change them.

At this point I have few positive thoughts of the Hearthstone team.

This set is so underwhelming.

I also don't get "you're at a party!" from the cards the way I got "you're seeking ancient treasures" from LOE or "dark place full of undead and abominations" from Naxx.

I think they delivered the feeling of an enchanted mage tower pretty well through the cards, which may have been what they were going for moreso than the party thing. They also have the adventure itself to use to convey the flavor.

Once you've played the adventure, the cards will fit in a bit more. The LOE cards didn't match for me until I played that one.

I enjoyed the wing but it was kind of unexciting. Should have been flashier imo.

chess game was really fun

Yeah, chess was really cool, Medivh's deck was fun, and the shaman menagerie deck was cute. I quite enjoyed this wing.

I always like the precon-deck bosses. mine cart is one of my favorite game modes.
