Wait a second... I certainly hope you are right and I misunderstood, but what I got from the announcement was that everyone gets just the first mission of the first wing for free, and the 2 cards are the rewards from that mission.

More cards.

Protect the King

Warrior Spell (R)
For each enemy minion, summon a 1/1 Pawn with Taunt.

Prince Malchezaar

Neutral Minion (L)
5/6
At the start of the game, shuffle 5 extra legendary minions into your deck.

Malchezaar obeys deckbuilding rules (will not give you 2 of the same legendary and only neutral legendaries or those of your class). It is... interesting. Could replace Elise? Work alongside Elise?

Malchezaar is hot garbage. It's a pit fighter that bloats your deck with cards you didn't want to put there in the first place.
idk about Protect the King. Probably not as strong as Unleash the Hounds, both in terms of actual quality and class synergy, but it's fun with Bolster.

Machezar is tech for fatigue warrior, replace your grommash and whatever else with removal and healing.

If you were running Grommash, it is not replaceable.

Machezaar seems there to let people run 35 card decks by adding 5 random "fat" cards to it. Unfortunately I've played a lot of Confessor Paletress and I think it's a fool's bargain. Unless class cards get a bonus similar to discover, in which case I could see a couple of classes running it in standard but not in wild.

After thinking about it a bit more, yeah Malchezaar is "hot garbage". I cannot find a single list where I would want to add 5 legendaries to the thing. .... Can't even do it if I pretend Elise Starseeker is not a card.

I dunno, it might be pretty good

in arena if that is still around.

In arena it might do something but it will probably still be pretty bad. I had thought it was a battlecry but as is its sad.

Kara Kazham! does not look very good, but it's not terrible in zoo.
Pompous Thespian could be decent only because 2-drops are kind of awful rn.
Zoobot does not look remotely good. Beast/Dragon/Murloc decks still have little appeal. However, if they will actually push for it then I could see Curator be viable. Still doubtful about this guy though.
Silverware Golem looks solid. I'm not entirely sold on Discard Lock yet, but it's a powerful card. The mana-payoff is higher than Fist of Jaraxxus, despite it costing less.
I hate how Medivh looks. That said, he looks really strong as far as finishers is concerned. The biggest problem with him is that he makes hate cards more viable against a larger range of archetypes, which makes them easier to justify as deck inclusions. It's not like there is anything else to hit with Harrison if you play Mage or Priest.

note that Zoobot only needs to hit one of its targets to be above the curve relative to Shattered Sun Cleric, which admittedly isn't tearing up the high-level constructed scene right now, but it's a go-to 3-drop for budget lists so that's nice.

I hate everything about Netherspite Historian

it's weird that you can be Medivh and play Medivh simultaneously. I wonder if they have special audio for that eventuality.

I'd probably rather have the -0/-1 if it lets me choose which creature to target. It's great if you can reliably hit 2, but I think the opportunity cost for that is too high.

Looks like a solid card for Priest, not sure if I would put it anywhere else.

Medivh looking silly but being a serious card is strange.

Zoobot is probably almost playable in some deck that has (mech and/or (murloc or beast or dragon)) synergies. Probably won't make the cut though.

I just hate Dragon Priest. it was the first incredibly frustrating deck I played against a bunch, so my hatred for it is burned into me even though it's not as good as some other options right now.

They finished releasing all the cards.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/co ... chart_all/

Warrior - Feels like they just got random things. I think the portal might see play but don't like the others.

Warlock - I don't think this is going to work. The random discard completely kills the consistency of anything a self discard deck would want to do. That being said, I can kind of see people just sandbagging silverware golems all game while casting the rest of their hand on curve until that one doomguard shows up.

Shaman - Feels all over the place. I feel like they wanted to go in a new direction but I don't think it will work.

Rogue - Maybe Ethereral Peddler will work? Unfortunately it's a deck built around random cards from your opponent's class, so there's no consistency there. It will have to be an amazing value play to be worth it, and I think a 1/1 followed by a 2/2 (ideal curvE?) is just bad tempo.

Priest - I don't know. Onyx Bishop looks good, but I don't see anything that will boost them here. Kind of hoping dragon priest just gets better tbh.

Paladin - It's a buff to dragon pally. Maybe that will be a thing? I still think it needs more help but that's a very big buff.

Mage - Wow that's some random ****.

Hunter - I think the 3 drop will see play.

Druid - I don't think beast druid will be a thing.

In case you didnt hear, they said classes that are dominating or have many viable decks right now in standard will get mostly cards for arena and casual rather than good cards. Which doesnt really explain priest but explains some other choices.

I don't buy this.

Warlock and Druid, two of the top 3 classes, are having an entire new constructed deck type pushed semi-hard. Meanwhile the bottom class, Priest, didn't really get anything cogent to help it out.
