For some reason that one just cracked me up.

I vote for 'Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar's Acquisitions'. Subtle, understated, alliterative. All good things in a company name.

As much as that would stroke my ego, sadly, Asmo is not a leader in any sense of the word and would not put his name on a sign like that. That and I'm sure you were simply kidding, but just in case anyone else liked this name, I object. ^_^

I particularly enjoyed it as well, I dont know why. Six Dudes and a Horse... has a nice blunt ring to it.

When it comes to guilds in MMOs I've always been fond of short one word names, but I before I actually think of some serious company names I'd need to know why we're all in it...

Are we just friends? Are we in it for profit? What types of goals do we hold as a group? What type of goals do each of your characters hold as a person?

(1) Asmo thinks of you all as family, even if you don't think of him that way.

(2) Profit and the chance to see the world and meet like minded people in it.

(3) I'd assume some sort of do-gooders theme.... who also need money.

(4) Asmo's goal is to generate a polyamorous family with as many people as he can feel love for and support.

Aside from some minor character notes needing to be added, I'm just keeping Asmo the same as he was. He still has no "back story," but I'll try and add that in as we go if that's alright.

Well going from the back story and whats been established up to this point (owning a business, having our name out there etc) it's clear we've known each other for a few years (or at the very least an exceptionally eventful few months). At this point I would imagine we are all friends enough to live together. I imagine a few of us may be a little more defensive about certain subjects but that's not exactly uncommon - embarrassment, shame, heck even pride could hold our tongues about aspect of ourselves.

As for the questions you put forth;
1) Unless I have a reason to really dislike one of you I basically see you all as my new pack mates. We may not always get along but I *will* have your backs when the chips are down.

2) You ask me straight I'll tell you I'm in it for the profit - gold puts meat and booze in the stomach after all. Truth of the matter is I just want to give something back to the people of the city; I didn't even expect a Gnoll to be allowed to live in Hoi Lan Fa let alone be allowed to prosper and make a name for himself. They took me in and I will do all I can to pay them back.

3) I can't really speak for the group here but I'd prefer to work with and to help the common folk in the city. The merchants and chancellors spend there days eternally sniping at one another over power, wealth and prestige while the common man does what he can just to survive. They are the ones who really need our help. Although said merchants and chancellors do pay so much better...

4) Long term goals? Never really thought about it. Don't see much point. You live each day as it comes and try to make the best of it; eat well, drink deep and try not to get killed.

I have no backstory, but I think mechanically the character is done. I may pick up some odds and ends equipment wise tomorrow when I get home from work, but just things like torches and caltrops, I already have my gear.

Also, since I was lazy and busy, and missed all rooms with a view... who wants to be floor mates? I dont mind the stairs, and I tend to keep the bathroom clean.

Do you want my room? I'll move if you need it. I think I can teleport into a room farther back from the door from outside. I only took it so Asmo could keep watch over Udacha.

So long as you don't mind my rooms collective detritus occasionally making a break for the corridor I'd be more than welcome to let you camp out on my floor.

Also from a strategic point it might be best if the meatshield melee combat expert lives as close to the business floor as possible. Just in case your needed in a rush.

Yes, that's why I took the room I did. The teleportation remark was simply that it is Asmo's preferred way to enter and exit his room to and from the outside. And he should be able to get to a room farther back if BH wants a room with a view, Asmo would just ask him to keep watch over Udacha for him.

Gold is always good...however, Soon is really in it for a change of pace and adventure.

Soon wants to make a name for herself. She also wants to make some money to help support her family back home. And...not getting killed...

While Soon is not a "dude", she has no problem with the name...

FYI, you need line of sight to have line of effect for your teleportation, so you can't teleport into a room you can't see.
