I don't think anyone will say it's a bad card. I'm gonna run this build for kicks. I won't be expecting amazing results, but lets see what the best possible aggro build could be.

I have tried everythign I could think of. It can't be done well. It's like trying to get slivers to have more than a 70 percent win ratio versus dodge and burn. You can have it happen, but it's not reliable and in no circumstances should you count on it.

Like most everyone else it seems, I just glance at it from time to time. I generally just see how the 2 forums compare to information being released, etc. So far this forum has the info before the official one. I'm thinking it is is official for me, this forum is the way to go. I contemplated moving the last portion of my tourney to this forum but decided I would just tough it out and finish it on there, lol. Since then I have gladly not posted a single thing on the old forums. I also agree with a few people who say they would rather have just had the old forum never change to crap. Not because this forum or community is bad by any means, just due to the main fact that it splits the community as a whole (such as new players going to the official site and not finding this one). Hopefully it is easy to find this website. I guess we should all be involved in making sure the thread to this forum is always bumped.

Yeah, when I say that "I'm glad it's dead", what I really mean is that I'm glad the botched forum transition cost them traffic to their website. Obviously I would've rathered to maintain the status quo over there, but that wasn't an option. Hopefully they learn from their ineptitude, but deep down I know they don't even care.

I agree, I feel the exact same way. The way Wizards has handled everything about this whole new forum layout thing has been terrible (not to mention the bug for Xbox that isn't allowing others to play multiplayer, I would be pissed if I played on Xbox). They have earned the "dying" of their website/forum.

I'm with both of you guys. It really pained me to feel like we really needed a new space.
I was perfectly fine with the old forum and had put quite a bit of work into it, including being in a focus group to give feedback on the proposed changes. The change coupled with the utter lack of communication and disregard for xbox and ipad users having so many issues caused me to rally for a new place for us.

I guess I'll go there once I need to post my updated excel spreadsheet. I also happened to notice the other day that on the steam forum people post decks, etc., which was a bit surprising to me. So there is a fair bit of dilution of the discussion base anyway.

This board is much nicer, but I don't think I found the other board by using Google. I don't remember.

Are you kidding? They don't even give a **** about MTGO. All their efforts goes into balancing paper, and all their online services period are set up really **** poorly.

As much as we were the black, redheaded, stepsheep of the other site, I feel we as much so more welcome here.

its not fair. wizards are a bunch of greaddy scum. you certainly know how MTGO economy works. im a noob there, but i realize theres players that dont need to buy nothing. i dont see the profit they may be getting out of that.

on the other hand, the chaps who can aford to waste money on cards are the preatty boys who get nice prize moneys on GP and pro tours and can get theyr hands on drafts and ****.

i think since DotP 2012 that we are beeing a nice profit for them.we buy the game, the expantions, foils, deck keys... even sealed now. dont say to me that they dont get a good load of money from us. that isnt true. wht are they doing with the money? beats me. they arent spending it at making more competitive decks for 2014 thats a fact.
and theycertainly arent doing noyhing in MTGO. they could improve the layout, the gameplay and all in there, just like they do in DotP every year. but you dont see nothing of it.

While Wizards themselves work on MTGO, they outsource the development of DotP to Stainless Games.

we know. and stainless games makes only one game per year. they could put them working on MTGO in the spare times
