On Four Points

[Henri's part]
>Suddenly, Henri felt the wait of Aurélie’s gaze on him,
Wait...

>Aurélie emphasized her last words emphatically.
This sounds a little redundant, but it could just be me.

>A few hours later, Henri was woken up by Aurélie and ushered back into Valerie’s cabin, Valerie herself.
Probably meant "with Valerie herself"

[Elise's part]
Elise is so CUTE. I never expected her to be so cute. Why must you torture all your most likeable characters!

[Gale's part]
>But she had rarely known so well-build a ship as the Mourning Reign.
Should be "well-built"

>Gale shuttered at the recollection
Pretty sure it should be "shuddered"

--------

Easy Yea from I. I kind of wish there was a way to set this up so that each time you accessed it, it only showed you a random one of the four parts, and people would have to talk to each other about it and come back to realize there's more than one perspective, but I also feel that would be horribly trolly and counterproductive to actually presenting a story to people.

@Luna: Good catches on the typos. Do you want me to go ahead and fix those here, so that it's all ready when it gets uploaded to the Archive?

Well, as Raiker might explain it, the tragedy is far more palpable that way!

I almost did something like this in a Creative Writing course I took in college. I wrote a story in such a way that I could write 9 different endings (one for each person in class) and only swap out the last page. But ultimately, I decided it wasn't worth the possible risk to my grade, so I didn't. In retrospect, I probably should have, just to see what would have happened...

:D

I think Keeper would like something like that. A lot. (warning: I'm half drunk, this might be a stinkin' pile of bulls--t)

Talking 'bout Keeper, do you follow them on Tumblr? I think they are mostly active there.

My voting finger says "abstain," because them's the rules!

My heart says "yay!" (as opposed to "yea"), because I had a blast working on this story with Raven, and I hope that everyone else has enjoyed it, too! :D

Oh, man, I don't think that would be trolly -- I think it would be awesome. :D

Elise is so CUTE. I never expected her to be so cute.

I really, really like Elise.

It's funny. Elise was originally going to be such a peripheral character in "Enough Rope" -- she almost literally started life as a Maguffin. And then I sort of just fell in love with her, and she just grew to be this character that I wanted to spend time with, that I wanted to get to know better.

I think we got to do that a little bit in this story, and, speaking for myself, I really enjoyed it. :D
