Your feats list Staff Expertise and I can't see the whole thing you typed, so I want to make sure you have the right expertise feat, which is Implement Expertise (Staff), i.e., not the Essentials version. Actually, looking at your powers, it seems you did take the wrong expertise feat, since you should not have melee 2 with just a staff.
Sorry, I was a bit confused by the feat. I thought it'd apply to implement attacks as well.
Sorry, I'm not explaining it well. For a quarterstaff, there are three relevant expertise feats:
Weapon Expertise (Staff)
Implement Expertise (Staff)
Staff Expertise
Versatile Experience (Staff and Staff)
The third one covers using a staff both as a weapon and as an implement and also gives additional benefits on top of the +1 feat bonus, so it's clearly the best option. The problem is that the feat comes from Heroes of books, which we are not using. So, you do have to take both weapon and implement expertise (staff) or take the one versatile expertise (staff and staff) to hit both.

If you're a dwarf-made warforged, your sapience comes from an elemental bound to your body. And you worship the dwarf god of iron?
I had a bit trouble reading the description of the world at first. I've rewritten my backstory to make it fit better in the setting.
Oh, I didn't mean that there was a problem with your backstory, I was just throwing some more exposition your way and to get a clarification. I liked the original backstory too, and it does not contradict with what warforged are, because when they are made, they have a new consciousness without regard to the original elemental.
So, to be completely clear: Your original backstory worked and so does your new one.
