This could be an important card.

Well, people got that "transform werewolf" card they asked for, not sure it's what they wanted though.

I like it if only because it has some utility outside of werewolf decks as well. Giving everything you control Trample for 2 (as a combat trick no less) is a card most G/R decks will want to be running.

I like it because it transforms that one ww who transforms all others when they enter the battlefield.

And while I'm here just some stuff that excites me.


I want this so much for my Rakdos vampires deck. It's beautiful.


Yay! Instant speed draw in black. Cost makes it a little restrictive but I'm okay with that.


Zombie tribal lord isn't a creature. I'm okay with this.

Looks like vampire tech got all they need if they get this, a finisher + cantrip.

The sad part is I'm looking at black and I'm not overwhelmed. They have some good stuff, don't get me wrong, but it's mostly tribal or generically useful stuff. Not that I'm against generically useful stuff - I'd have just liked something a little more interesting.

What do you guys think about scry 5 for 2 mana? I still like Telling Time more.

Not sure about this, doesn't seem as well supported as Elves and Shaman. Vampires have always felt like they need to bash out a quick win to me, not enough staying power. I mean it's harder to produce vampire tokens as quickly.

Hamlet Captain reprint makes it pretty clear the card seen in one of the Duels screenshots is indeed him, which makes Hamlet Captain confirmed for duels.

Well they do get significantly better removal, so that might help a lot.

Hmm while the scrying is great, I think not actually drawing anything off it kills this card.

Most of the new escalate cards seem pretty cool. Most of the new emerge cards feel very underwelming.

This is huge for delirium.

Selesnya Humans is looking strong! Softness to good flyers and perhaps removal is so so, but should always be challenging.

Seems more suited for a graveyard based deck that wants to dump a bunch of cards in the grave and then essentially sorts what is left in the order they like.

The 3/4 flying zombie that you can reanimate discarding 2 cards seems pretty obnoxious.
