I do imagine Wizard's will try their best to get Stainless to put Emrakul in despite promises since Tithes. though if she does end up story only then it's likely she will be the Lilliana final boss fight, maybe with other walkers coming in to help like in the OGW story.

Hey guys was just looking at summary dismissal. Does that counter ulamog's exile effect if you play it vs him or does that not count as an ability? Just wondering if that is the anti eldrazi card we need but not the one we deserve.

Ulamog's exile effect is a triggered ability, so yes, if you cast Summary Dismissal while it's on the stack, it would not resolve.

Summary Dismissal could be used to counter ultimate'ing a Planeswalker, too, correct?

They sacrifice Ob Nixilis with 8 counters to get an emblem, you cast Summary Dismissal, they get nothing and like it.

Yep, it's pretty much a stack wrath and counters all things on the stack whether it be by exiling the spell (getting around "can't be countered" at that) or outright countering any card abilities. It won't usually be a wrath mind you but it was surely made to counteract all the on cast abilities the Eldrazi have by both exiling the Eldrazi off the stack and then nullifying their abilities; no Ulamog exile, no Emrakul mindslave and no Kozilek super draw.

It's such a useful tool for blue-based control. Between that and Unsubstantiate, if we get both, blue doesn't NEED a ton of cards to remain competitive.

I think this will probably be what I use over confirm suspicions if we get it. There are a lot of creatures that have spell based non prowess effects for blue this expansion. I hope we get most of them I wouldn't mind making a spell based effects deck like last year. I remember izzet young pyromancer + talrand, sky summoner and that goblin that did shock to the face when you casted a spell was a nightmare to face.

Dunno if I can cut Confirm Suspicions. That card wins games. This card, while amazing, is not going to suddenly refill your hand. Most times, this will just be working as a hard counter.

So Warping Wail is going to have some new targets.

I still think Emrakul is way more likely to come than not. Doesn't matter if they can't code it right, they will try to put it in the pool and bother about the bugs afterwards. They need the flagship card of the Set (heck, it was the very first officially spoiled card, a whole week before preview season).

My bets for the Mythics (the rules I'm following are: all the PWs and flagship cards, at least 1 Mythic for each color and 10 Mythics for large Sets, 8 for small Sets).

It's been WAY too long. She's just a human. I'm not saying she was killed or anything, but planeswalkers die of old age now.

DFCs have their own slots so there's 14 mythics in EMN instead of typical (new) 12 for small set, that should mean Gisela doesn't count as the white mythic since she is a DFC and should have her own slot like Ulrich.
I think Ulrich and Gisela are the only 2 mythic DFC cards in the set but they're different kinds of DFC and it's not out of the question to get both.

Gisa and Geralf are a Blue/Black card, so it's not gonna take up the Blue Slot.

I also doubt Gisela will take up the white slot since she's a special meld card, much like how Tazri wasn't White's and instead something like a conflux card.

Nahiri was trapped in the Hellvault, and her powers didn't actually go away from the Mending until she was released. I suppose it could be argued that Jaya could have also fell into some kind of temporal trap or something, but I kinda doubt it. At least, I would be disappointed if they hand-waved it away like that.

I would be so hyped if Jaya Ballard is somehow still alive and burning faces off while casually tossing witty quips. So much great flavor text...
