Not gonna lie, I'd be interested in Incendiary Flow. Exiling is the kicker, even if it's sorc speed. We run Declaration In Stone after all.

I mean, I guess didn't really have an exile card yet, but we get a lot of creature hate and not really anything that can go to the face. hell, I'd be happy with just a reprint of Lightning Strike, but maybe I'm just a bit biased, lol.

We had Touch of the Void but it really wasn't good enough. This one is generally better.

At babs, it's only a sorcery. /:

And btw, I'd rather have lightning strike, but this will still be a big help.

Think of it like this: In any random black deck she is a +1 bonus and fetches your creature back to your hand and in a dedicated graveyard deck she is a +2 or more.
It isn't really a downside that you mill away the cards because you might as well have not seen them cards anyway. The only difference is your visual bias of actually seeing the cards you didn't get to play but in actual fact that is no different than looking through your deck at the end of a game to see what cards you might've drawn.

Liking some of the new stuff spoiled today. Red getting some new (much needed) face burn with the escalate spell and 3d sorcery. The new :w: spirit is going to see a ton of play. That mythic spider is hilarious. Do we even have any other spiders in duels? Really makes me want to build a goofy spider tribal deck.

Liliana and her oath are ok. Was hoping for something more Boss in a higher casting cost, but she's fine for a 3CMC Planeswalker. I like her ultimate emblem better than the 13 tapped zombies one on the fake (at least a lone sweeper won't erase all the work). I get mileage out of flip Jace's +1, and Lilliana's will take a nice bite out of WW and flash flyers. The minus ability on the fake one was better, but overall I like the real one more. In the end tho, I'm still more excited about the Bant PW...

If you're comparing it to touch of the void - that has some synergy with other devoid cards (creatures that pump, untap, or deal damage whenever you play a colorless spell).

The difference is obvious if you have any idea how to think of randomly distributed decks of cards. The odds of having any given card at the bottom of your deck are unchanged, and they are compounded with the completely separate odds of milling that card away, resulting in greater odds that any given card will be rendered useless. It's only the same thing as not drawing a card if you think of "luck" of the draw, instead of thinking in terms of probability.

Granted, there's also the fact that she digs and may reach cards that would have been out of drawing range otherwise, but that's pretty negligible unless she lives for 5 or 6 turns.

Self-milling cards are terrible outside of dedicated self-milling strategies, I thought that much was obvious. Maybe the tradeoff is worth it... in the late game, where you might just as well use more powerful effects. It's not like you're going to -2 her a bunch of times.

And, Zombies and MBC are going to be some of the first things I try and she'll be in them. I just don't have much faith, is all. I'll happily eat my hat if I'm wrong.

Now, can we please drop this topic already?

It had to be nerfed, 'cause Incinerate was just too strong. Avacyn can wipe a board, deal 3 face damage and become a 6/5 vigilant flyer, but us red mages definitely should only get Incendiary Flow :D

red cards are always underbudgeted because sometimes red just wins
