Hey guys, I was not playing in the past three weeks, but here's the mono red that bringed me to rank 40 :D

19 Mountain
3 Rogue's Passage

It can hurt quite a bit, when at eot of opponent's T2 you put in a Bloodmad Vampire. Heck, that things punch a lot :)
I don't have yet all the ootg cards, so atm in my deck I miss the second Chandra (I'm using a Chandra's Ignition atm)
Stensia Masquerade is such a jewel card :) It's like block and die or don't block and die faster.
Just go and try it, it's really fun and quite effective (I got surprised by that).

Any suggestions? I would always consider that Eldrazi 3 damage sweeper that I forgot the name and two Radiant Flames (switching doubleland in manabase, ofc) in and 3 Youths out, for a bit more of weenie defense

How hard you could hit sometimes (well, I have see harder punch, but still not bad)

Wasn't me, maybe in the past, but it's like a month I'm not playing Duels, except for random coin on quests on IA. Someone else running a madness deck then :)
About the two 6cmc drops, ye, they could sit here, but I like to think at them more as finishers on top deck mode, if you fail to rush your opponent early. Well, if you found both of them in starting hand, just mull away. Or you can always discard them :) Any possible replace? I like the Sower just for surviving removals with his big 8 toughtness, but yeah, better cards wanted.

I know it somewhat breaks theme, but I'd probably just use Goblin Glory chaser, Abbot of Keral Keep, or some pump spell to fill it out.

I'd also reduce the lands to 21, cut 2 mountain and a Rogue's Passage, and put in 2 Blighted Gorge because I want it to where if I'm hitting 6 mana, I just need to chuck a little more damage to face to win.

I'm always split between Rogue's Passage and Blighted Gorge... Maybe I will take 2 and 2. I'm afraid of cutting off a land, I prefer a more stable chance to get 3 lands down on T3, lot of stuff here get casted at cmc 3.

So still two places up instead of Chandra and Sawer. Chandra's Ignition? Could be a very good sweeper/finisher.

Definitely run Insolent Neonate - they're great if you can target them with enchantments thanks to built-in evasion and can grant some value if targeted with a removal spell. Also, they help turn on Delirium on Scourge Wolf.

I think it's weird to run Lightning Axe without any Madness cards whatsoever, especially since Fiery Temper and maybe Avacyn's Judgment are playable in this shell even without Madness.

Currently I feel like Call of the Full Moon is not very good as it falls off too often; if you value Trample highly I'd recommend replacing some number of Titan's Strength with Rush of Adrenaline. Instead I'd go up to 4 Infectious Bloodlust; that card gets a lot better in multiples.
Another option for your enchantments is Senseless Rage, depending on how much madness you'll want.

I also don't know what is the best 2-drop for mono-R besides Abbot. Bullies get Prowess, Makindi Sliderunner gets Trample and the Landfall comes up at times, Kessig Forgemaster is REALLY annoying to play against (especially with combat tricks or Fiery Impulse at your disposal). Scourge Wolf has the most potential, but also needs the most support; not exactly sure how good he is.

If you cut 4 Mountains, you have to cut the Firebird and the Vortex at least I think. 18 Mountains means you're not even guaranteed to get to 3 lands, which is the sweet spot. Maybe every land after the third is not needed, but you have enough outlets to let that go (Lightning Axe being the most prominent one).

But what do I know - I'm running 17 Mountains (plus 4 Looming Spires...)

I could go 21 mountain but I don't like going 20 or any lower it isn't worth the losses to no land hands.

I've played around a bit more and agree with some of your points Modulo, abbot is cut now, not worth it with his bugginess. I also agree with cutting call of the full moon, 2 for ones aren't great on the receiving end

Still happy with lightning axe though, people are getting fat creatures out quickly in this meta. So much variety and I need if oten times. Im going to replace some cuts with act of treason, and maybe act of treason can fill lightning axes role

Either way I think overall this type of mono red works better than the more popular madness combo decks going around, I prefer simple stuff rather than needing a combo, personally

In Japanese, Sente means black and Gote means white. These names are used not only in Go, but also in other board games (I know the terms from Shogi).

Lol... Sente is actually portuguese for feel. Damn spelling corrector doesn't like it when I type in english and keeps making random corrections. 90% of my typos are due to that.
About the only thing I know how to say in japanese is: watashi no neru shirokonai desu. Which means my cat isn't White, I think...

Btw guys... Anyone up for a double monored on 2hg? 2 Fall of the titans and 4 vessel of volatility for each deck could be a good start :) pm me if someone wanna try working on this, we could have some fun and some serious big damages :)

I built a mono-red aggro deck today and went 7-1 with it at rank 40ish (loss to Superfriends with a million PWs - took care of Gideon, but then he dropped the rest of the team and languished me... Then all I drew was Land).

Mono Red Aggro

Description
I missed Rdw... So After playing some other archtypes that have Red, I've returned to mono Red and put together what works in those decks.

Creature(21)
3x Goblin Glory Chaser (old-school card. Still a threat early, poor top-decking late)
4x Insolent Neonate (red's best 1 drop. Always relevant with evasion)
3x Mage-Ring Bully (prowess. It Triggers easily in this deck. Abbot may come back if he gets fixed)
3x Makindi Sliderunner (playing beast's landfall deck reminds how good these guys are. Trample Rocks, prime Titan's Strength target)
3x Ravenous Bloodseeker (I'm not sold on these guys. Since I threw in lots of madness, another discard outlet is useful. Totally smashed my opponent in one game with Senseless Rage, but he's a 1/3 most of the time)
2x Scourge Wolf (got delirium once, don't really care. 2/2 first Strike for 2 is good enough)
1x Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh (Chandra may be too slow for this deck. For now she stays)
1x Avaricious Dragon (an old Pre-soi favorite. Will get replaced by that discard your hand, draw 3 prowess guy in emn, if we get him...)
1x Akoum Firebird (the bird is always good. Flying is one of superfriend's weaknesses)

Instant(12)
4x Titan's Strength (fast becoming one of my favourites. Always good to see when it shows up- usually means opponent has 3 less life left)
1x Fall of the Titans (Was actually a one-of Twin Bolt, but it never showed up and this is more useful as a one-of. May add the second)
3x Lightning Axe (I'm not a fan, but 5 damage can kill most annoying creatures. Shame it doesn't hit walkers...)
4x Fiery Temper (so good, even for 3. Madness just makes it a Lightning Bolt. What's not to like?)

Sorcery(4)
2x Avacyn's Judgment (twinbolt replacement, that goes rolling thunder with madness. Still waiting for the game it hits a big X. Current Max is at 3)
2x Exquisite Firecraft (my saviour. I should foil them... Or maybe not...)

Enchantment(3)
3x Senseless Rage (potential madness/delirium activator. Trying it out instead of Infectious Bloodlust. Has been good so far)

Land(20)
4x Looming Spires (this is usually +1 damage, great with Makindi and don't forget first Strike)
16x Mountain

Apparently Rdw isn't dead. It can still pack a punch and emn has some goodies coming...
I ended up commiting to madness/discard which is the better part of vampire Tribal, leaving out the meh rest. Makindi was already a staple in my pre-soi Rdw deck and landfall aggro reminds me of how good they are. The rest is old school Rdw (prowess, Titan's Strength, Glory chaser, etc..)

Give a try at a more madness-centric deck, the list is in this page too. Glory chaser and bully are kinda dead in this block, imo. You can also leave the fall of the titan, on 1vs1 it's a mhe card, it shines in 2HG, but on 1vs1 avoid it. A simple Molten Vortex can help better reaching delirium for your wolf or do a couple of extra damage.

-3 bully
-1 Fall of the titans
+1 makindi
+1 sensless rage
+1 molten vortex

and you still have a free space. I would leave also the 3 glory chasers, then going for 4 Act of Treason.

EDIT: you can also consider 3 Devour in flame and 1 more vortex if you don't like the AoT. That's a couple of damage with a Makindi and a looming, plus it bring ur 5 damage shot to 6. Die, fatty aggros. 3 Kessig Forgemaster are an option too, or you will lose too much creatures power. Rush of Adrenaline could be split with 2:2 with Titan's Strenght. Or going 4 (or 3) Brute strenght, that's the perfect marry of the two cards.

Fall of Titans is huge with 1 drops. It has card advantage written all over it and its Instant.
Dumping the bullies kills prowess in the deck and it has so many Triggers to not Cash in...
Molten Vortex always underperformed for me...
Cutting Titan's Strength for Rush of Adrenaline isn't a good idea imo. I usually pump evasive or non-blocked creatures so +1 damage is relevant as is scry (always useful).
Devour is a card I like... But I tried to go fast and not need it, but in a PW heavy meta, its the PW hate we have... And its not half bad.
I used to play one Act of Treason in my Rdw for suprise effect. Lately, I see too many chumps and no sac outlet for it to shine... Can annoy some opponents into rage quitting... Hehehe
Kessig forgemaster and gaer reach bandit were cards I looked at twice, but went with some more traditional options...
