No RAZER, and yes I have tried unplugging the keyboard and mouse. The game just hates me.

Dark Souls hates everyone, your comment is irrelevant.

GoogleFu just comes back with a ton of people going "silly me my joystick was plugged in" or "my nostromo was causing the issue"

I've also seen the suggestion
Go into device manager.
Go into Human Interface Devices
Disable ALL items that have the HID acronym (Not just the HID game controller)
This includes any 'Virtual HID device' you have at the bottom
Load up Dark Souls
Enjoy.

But I know for a fact I didnt have to do that. I think I just restarted the computer or steam or something, and it worked fine.

Amnesia, A Machine For Pigs is on sale, but I never did get around to finishing the first one.

Steam, you're playing with my emotions.

I did pick up Baldurs Gate though, never actually got to play it back in the day so got some catching up to do.

I glanced over their sales, but nothing was enticing enough to convince me to spend more money until my gaming queue is under, say, fifteen games long.

I picked up Dishonored cause I havent played it yet, and heard good things.

I've got a decent queue as well, but ... I'm about to have a lot of time to burn with minimal internets, so might as well.

Ko, MGE me bro.

I don't know exactly how many hours I have on TF2, because for one thing, I left the game open and alt-tabbed out a bunch, which stuck a ton of extra hours played onto my record, but on the other hand, I reset my stats at one point. But I have a ton of hours. I stopped playing because pubs got boringly easy, but I suck too much to play competitive.

As for DOTA, I'd be willing to play that with anyone. I have about 400 games logged.

Only fifteen? Man, my list is about 75 games that I haven't finished yet. Damn Humble Bundles....

Only buy things if they're on the flash sale, unless its the last day and you absolutely have to have something...

Steam Sale rule numba one.

I seriously need to learn to have more self-control and wait to buy things until they're on big sales.

So far I've only picked up a few cheap indie games for about seven dollars total. Waiting to see if anything truly good goes on sale.
