Why isn't anyone playing 5 color 1 drops?

There are a couple of really boring to play against control decks there (the 1-2 win-con in whole deck type). Lots of good stuff decks, plenty of tireless Trackers and Kalitas, mostly mid-range. You have basically one aggro deck (w/g Humans), some ramp, some big eldrazi showing up and one jar-tides deck. Strange enough, typical superfriends decks must have gotten so boring Nobody's playing them anymore...
Well, seeing as he's probably the underdog, I'm rooting for Yankspanker (not that I enjoy spanking yanks), for having the guts to run aggro and megabeast for what seems to me the most off-beat, creative deck of the bunch.

Haunted Cloak is getting a lot of love here.

It's a mostly Tier 2 tournament, which I think is awesome.

Ok, but only really naughty yanks...

Very interesting that so many people are running enchantments - sigil, tutelage, mysteries, bond, bonds, etc., and artifacts - brain, cloak. Was convinced sideboards would funnel people away from playing stuff like that since you could preserve main deck power card integrity by stocking your sideboard with sages and other enchantment/artifact hate that would otherwise not make the cut.

Maybe I just didn't consider that sideboards also allow people the opportunity to sideboard their artifacts/enchantments out too. Contrary to my assumption there would be less deck variety, this tourney seems to have more than the previous one - or, at the very least more unusual card choices than the previous one.

Heres hoping the anti-sideboard camp will come around this time.

I've got sweepers in my main and NO Reclamation Sage in my sideboard. My sideboard is partially transformational against Midrange & Control match-ups & the mirror. Most of it is built for anti-aggro however.

EDIT: I don't believe this is against the rules or anything but this is my sideboard plan. Most of it is spoiled in my videos up to this point anyways if folks were paying attention. I took into account some estimates based on previous tournaments this season & the player count of this tournament.

I separated them into 4 piles, anti aggro, midrange, control and ramp/combo; from top to bottom. I never used my anti-aggro package this tournament and never expected to. Also anti-enchantment was never a concern because enchantments weren't back breaking as they were during Origins Season.

Well, it’s finally happened. My 2nd oldest decklist finally got two losses in a row. Gemini’s awesome GeistRamp was a blast to play and finishes with a record of 68-20. It had two 9-0 win streaks at a time. A conflux landfall fat stack followed by Boros aggro took it down.

Im going to replace it with Rabble’s Jeskai Control deck. So far 8-2
