Just a note is that Emrakul is #006 which mean there's 5 completely colourless non-artifacts in the set before her which confirms more Eldrazi-like creatures. I say Eldrazi like because it seems they're trying to avoid a full swarm of Eldrazi by warping all the current Innistrad creatures with madness.
I assume stuff like the fused Bruna and Gisela are probably plain colourless and not devoid.

"Fun" fact: when they coded Odric, Master Tactician for DotP2013, they coded a function to choose blockers for an opponent, but also a function to choose attackers, and modders were able to code Master Warcraft as well. However, since DotP2014, the function to choose blockers for an opponent doesn't work anymore: clicking on your opponent's creatures does nothing so you can only choose for your opponent to leave everything unblocked.

Maybe they'll accidentally fix it when they are forced to make us able to control a whole opponent's turn?


I'm more interested if they'll fix that when the opponent rage-quits the app it should give me a victory immediately.

Controlling opponents? Too complicated, stainless will never be able to pull it off without creating 300 new bugs.

Still, really nice for a reanimator deck. Turn 4 15/15 emrakul would be nuts. :)

That's what the latest Story and the EMN trailer seems to suggest; no sign of regular Eldrazi brood, just warped Innistrad creatures (including a disgustingly fused Bruna and Gisela).

Lol, if she had haste, she would be indeed nuts...probably two trampling 13/13 attacks are game...but alas, no...there is still a chance of you not being able to cast all the removal of your opponent, or of a crazy topdeck, and she would attack not even once then..

The worst beat I ever took in paper magic was my opponent using mindslaver to ultimate my Jace the mind sculptor on me. Where'd my library go?

Emrakul 2.0 won't do as much for us, but I like the walker possibilities.

Ultimate their nahiri for an elf or discard their Dec in stone.
-sorin killing himself and another walker/creature.
Ultimate arlinn kord and tap their creatures to kill themselves or -1 to kill itself.
Ultimate nissa vastwood and sac all creatures to husk (reaching here I know)
Chandra, flamecaller kills herself, etc...

Not total domination, but lots of possibilities.

Yup. Ulrich himself looks pretty underwhelming to me; doesn't push Werewolf tribal anywhere and is maybe just too expensive to be run in these decks.
Limited bomb sure, but I don't seehim exceeding that role.

So.. you play him, and buff one of your dudes +4/+4. Then next turn you don't play anything (hold up instants like Howlpack Resurgence, Pack Guardian or red burn spells).. he flips, and kills something, while being a 6/6 beatstick. Or.. you have the 3/2 red dude on the field that flips werewolves the turn they're cast.. and get both abilities on the same turn. I don't think he's bad at all.. certainly better than the other crappy 5cmc options. He's not gonna push wolves into tier 1 status or anything.. but with the flip mechanic being what really holds them back, I don't think anything could make them tier 1.
