I'm not so much interested in the details of the card itself as I am curious if Emrakul is another colorless casting cost. I'd love to see a few more of those. As the meta stands right now, I feel like there's only one good build for colorless creatures, I'd like to see more options.

Well I would think they would have to continue in the colorless direction. Do you think they'll ever make a colorless/color land? I guess it's not a dual color land if one color is colorless haha.

They had a couple come out during Oath (Holdout Settlement, Unknown Shores, Corrupted Crossroads) but we didn't get them. And those cards has some restrictions as well.

yeah, I don't know how to refer to colorless vs REALLY colorless. Juggernaut vs Kozilek, for example.

if we're getting actual colorless, so an Innistrad version of Wastes, then maybe we do get color+less lands. Or at least something else like Crumbling Vestage that can do both creatively. (Plus, I assume, that Vestage will actual be as good as intended once they fix the priority issues.)

If Emrakul shows up, he can be 20cmc, because he's Reanimator fodder (probably throw him in my build).
I'm actually expecting more clue making cards. Vampires and werewolves are bound to show up, zombies too (pretty weak so far).
An izzet PW would be nice. More prowess creatures, some new tricks and toys for Red that got the short end of the stick last update. Some love for black and blue would help balance the colors.
Some good artifacts are much needed too, not just another bunch of mostly unplayable equipments.
I don't really care much for colorless and eldrazi, I find them kind of boring...

I expect no new clue cards since clues where SOI's theme leading into EMN's answers.

Oh well. At this point I'm actually more excited for the Kaladesh block, as it should imply artifacts.
And I'm longing for a new Izzet artifact deck.

Let's hope EMN isn't too much about Emrakul or fatties, otherwise we could very well go back to some form of ramp. What I'd want is more vampires, more hummies and more zeny stuff.

I want more tribal support across the board.. except Elves, F elves.

I hope we don't get another 'everybody get together to battle Eldrazi' thing again like the Gatewatch.

If you are playing red with loads of faceburn, you deserve to be hit by your own stuff because you let Emrakul come out by not winning. Self mill decks are going to have a field day with this.

I agree. I mean it isn't Aeon's Torn, but for all your opponent can do about it, it may as well be. Immune to instants and they can't do anything the following turn: it should just read 'when you play Emrakul, the Promised End, you win'. No way we get this.

You don't even need that much faceburn. Any X spell would do the trick.
By the time that thing comes out, considering the in-between damage, it's just a question on what cards you had to leave in your hand and what is drawn.
