Could it be your opponent had a Kalitas on the field?

This is clearly what I meant to say when I said "are you sure it wasn't oblivion strike?"....dammit

Why would Greenwarden be exiled by a Grasp, if he has Kalitas in play?

Not sure if its a bug, bit it sure is useful.

If you target a player and a PW with Fall of Titans, you get the option to redirect damage to the PW, so you end up doing double damage to the PW.

Because Kalitas causes a replacement effect and your creatures get exiled instead of dying.

You're not even supposed to be able to target both a player and their PW in the first place so this is indeed a bug. The simplification of PW damage redirecting has messed up some of the multi-target burn spells like this.

Cool, I never noticed this before. He indeed had Kalitas in play (my own Kalitas, resurrected).

I noticed that Thalia's Lieutenant did not receive a +1/+1 counter when Gideon, Ally of Zendikar created a Knight Ally creature token. In contrast, Thalia's Lieutenant does gain counters whenever Westvale Cult Leader spawns a Human Cleric creature token. So I assume this is a bug, right?

Gideon doesn't make human tokens.

Gideons tokens aren't humans, they have the creature types 'knight' and 'ally' only

That's not a bug. Read the card:

"0: Put a 2/2 white Knight Ally creature token onto the battlefield."

I was just eating my yogurt when I realized this fact, so I came over to see if I could delete my post. :)

Oh Gideon! If only Human Ally tokens...

Here's a fun one!

Opponent has Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and makes a plant.
I have Eldrazi Displacer and exile that plant, so it doesn't exist to return to play tapped.
Next turn, opponent activates Nissa to make another plant. THAT plant enters play tapped.

(This led to Nissa, and understandably the entire game, not lasting long enough to see about the plant after that plant.)

I've seen Omnath generate tapped elementals, too, and now I'll have to watch if there's a Displacer involved.

1. Here is a horrible glitch with the latest priority settings. I had only Abbot of Keral Keep in hand, I cast it during my first main phase and it grabbed Jhessian Thief. However, the timer ran right to attack phase, skipped my second main phase straight to end phase and I was not able to cast Jhessian Thief. This priority setting renders a lot of cards and deck themes useless (such as sacrificial theme decks). It is just horrible and unacceptable for this to linger so long as it has without a fix. What are those at Wizard sitting on? I've brought this to the attention of those at Wizard through email and have posted on their Facebook page (my posts and many like mines have been removed).

2. Another glitch with Disciple of the Ring, it's ability to "tap target creature" does not let me target tokens no matter the phase or creatures when in attack phase.

These are issues we've been experiencing since the update. Wizards and stainless' oficial position is no patches/update until the new cards come in (apparently they don't have the resource to do both). So, we can only hope they correct these issues when the new update comes and then wait patiently for the next update to fix all the new bugs this update brings.
That or like someone said before, go play hearthstone.

Don't bother complaining to wizards, they don't care.

I'm also not completely sure the Priority thing will be Fixed, as it was sort of intentional (probably trying to Ruin the game...).

So for now, play around the bugs, don't use buggy cards or take some time off duels, the choice is yours. :)

Had a fun game yesterday where I had the Displacer out, the opponent played Thopters and one of the tokens from Foundry and Pia and Kiran would come in tapped, to his dismay. It screwed up his plans real good. Thanks, Stainless :V

Not sure if this is a glitch. But if Greenwarden of Murasa dies and you choose to exile him to bring back a card and while that is on the stack, you can cast Pulse of Murasa to bring Greenwarden back to your hand, he does not get exiled and you get the extra card from your graveyard.

Is that a glitch or just some crazy stack related rule like sacrificing Flashbag to Evo Leap?

I think its a bug, because the exiling should be the cost of the effect and should probably happen before getting any card back, not sure though.

The rule says the exiling happens at resolution and that it can be responded to like that but it should still fail because you didn't end up exiling it.

Opponent used Vessel of Malignity during my end step. Definitely not coded to Sorcery timing.
