I haven't seen this started yet, so I figured, why not?

So, spoilers start tomorrow at some point is what I am understanding. How do you think this will change out little meta?

Personally, I suspect Vampire and Werewolf tribal to get a pus, and possibly Zombies as well. I expect the overall meta to speed up a little bit.
I also see in the future:

a new board wipe
a new planeswalker removal spell
obviously new planeswalkers

I don't see anything the devs need to remove/replace right now as they did with Mwonvuli Acid-Moss.

What is your thoughts/opinion?

I expect to be disappointed again in some way.
Also new bugs and possibly new clunky programmed cards.

Tamiyo planeswalker card is hopefully a given.
Emrakul spawn and incredibly maybe emrakul self.

Emerakal was leaked yesterday or something. Hopefully more bant cards for Coco.

Last thing we need is more blue shenanigans, almost lost to U/B Prism Friday and that shouldn't be legal.

Who is Tamiyo - like, is she a planeswalker?

Edit: Vampires need a buff. They lose to Radiant flames lol. Kozilak Return wipes out Zombies too.

I'm more interested in finding out whether or not with the coming of the next expansion will the older sets be rotated out OR will what we currently have be added to newer sets. The game seems more choppy with so much more data to sift through.

Definitely stronger Vampire, Spirit, Zombie & Werewolf support in the coming expansion for Duels and other limited formats is a plus.

Also, I'm expecting a new Tamiyo & Liliana.

2 Things that I'm speculating about for EMN.

To my understanding it will just be a big reveal on the story of EMN tomorrow with 1 card related to the story shown but full spoiler season doesn't start until the 27th. I think they're doing this special kind of showcase because it's a full moon tomorrow.


Emrakul was not leaked, there was just some box with the word Emrakul on its label.

MTG Salvation says otherwise.

The whole thread is speculating on if it's real, if it's misguiding people or if it's even related to EMN at all if it is real. At best it might confirm there's some kind of Emrakul promotional material.
So no Emrakul for EMN is not yet confirmed, no matter how obvious it appears based on story hints so far.

Oh I see now! Babs has took control of Emrakul and became the ultimate Advanced Emrakul!

I expect lili of the veil to be reprinted and a new Emrakul (10 mana maybe and much powerfull on cast trigger and weaker ingame effect, like new kozi and newlamog)
New Tamyo planeswalker, maybe Izzet or Azorius colors
Some good form of planeswalker interaction (a hero's downfall type level card), and a overall power level push for vampire and zombie tribal. Mono red is also likely to get some new toys.

Well tomorrow seems to be important EMN story talk so I figure we will get whatever is spoiled tomorrow.

Uhm, well, yeah, quite a bit.

They will give us something powerful, something weak, something redundant, something story-related and something related to the mechanics of this block.

I don't know, his cast trigger last time was uncounterable and take another turn...not sure how you get more powerful than that other that "win the game" (which, coincidentally, is what the original Emrakul's cast effect said). Ulamog's effect is arguably much better this time around, while Kozilek's was a push. The loss of Annihilator is pretty much a good thing all around.



Nope...we probably will not know for about 3-4 weeks at best. All we can do is speculate.

What made Emmy so powerfull was the fact that it combined the time walk effect with the anhilator 6, meaning game was almost over whenever he was cast. Dunno if they will make it a "I win 100%" card when cast like before, or something like newlamog or new kozi that are more manageable (although game breaking effects)

Even with all that, they're not going to make it more powerful if it's gonna cost less mana. Emrakul costs 15 mana and gets all them powerful abilities so I dunno how you can expect her to cost 10 mana but be even more powerful.

Emrakul also had protection from colored spells. So you can't Path to Exile him during the extra turn (or other instant speed exile).
