Yes this is all very fascinating.

I'd like to take this time to talk about Day 1 in mafia games. Day 1 is pretty safely to say the easiest part of the game if you're mafia. You have plenty of people to hide behind and as long as you don't aggressively screw up it's pretty hard to get a good read on anybody so the day 1 lynch is usually a shot in the dark. It isn't until day 2 that day 1 stuff makes sense and is put into some sort of context. This is why I don't put much effort into day 1 a lot of the time but I've come to realize wasting any day even day 1 is indeed a horrible waste.

Now let's look and how lynches in mafia work. It usually comes down to two people where candidate 1 is suspicious because of arbitrary reason A while candidate 2 seems scummy for arbitrary reason B. Once and a while you'll get a third person but they're never really kept into consideration for long due to people wanting to keep the discussion focused because if talk about every single person you'll never get anywhere which is why some people inevitably fall into the background.

So where am I going with all this? Well you see I've talked about is how to lay the groundwork to a fun day 1! Because day 1 is a shot of the dark it's the perfect time to make a game of things! Well mafia is already a game so let's call this a sub-game? mini-game? Whatever that part isn't important, what is important is this day 1 needs two lynch candidates picked for dumb reason that don't make any sort of logical sense. So the real question is who do we pick? I mean barely anything has happened so why not wait before we do this? Well the answer to that question is because that would be boring so screw waiting.

So Mylen started this game with a pseudo-rag cult offer to Io who then declined. Now I think it's safe to say that while it's possible that one of them could be mafia I don't think both of them are because why would the mafia suggest it would create it's own rag cult and then decline it? So since the only thing of any importance that has occurred so far I suggest we make day 1 Mylen vs. Io day!

Basically we'll let day 1 play out like it would normally with the small modification of we have to vote for either Mylen or Io at the end of the day so they will of course be encouraged to make arguments against each other. I mean if nothing else if there is anyone still left who thinks they're the same person it should be pretty entertaining to see Rag argue against herself right?
