it would have a clue from ur declaration

That is the only answer the makes sense, as a Clue is an artifact and it was not on the battlefield after everything had resolved. Thanks for clearing that up.

Played against that guy that is famous for cheating. Nothing new there, I've played him before and he's still at it, casting X spells with mana he doesn't have... But this time he did something with altered ego that crashed my steam client (fatal error). The worst part was that I lost my rank, when I probably could have beaten him... Oh well, hope this crash your opponent doesn't catch on.
As a side note, doesn't cheating get tried for this guy? How the hell can he keep cheating for so long without getting bored of it? The mind boggles...

Already discussed this: He/she is rewarded for cheating by not receiving any consequences while enjoying his toys.

Only 90% sure this is a bug...

Ok so Ulamog has a "when Ulamog attacks!!!" trigger that is supposed to exile 20 cards, right?

I play on Steam and I normally play control, so I counter him 80% of the time before he hits the table, and the remaining 20% of the time I have had Celestial Flare in my hand. So when Ol' Ullie attacks, he starts to sparkle as if his ability has been triggered. Then I cast flare and he is sacrificed. He dies as expected but....

He doesn't exile cards from my library!

I don't even know the rules here, but I assume killing him doesn't counter his ability. This has happened to me twice on steam.

An old and known bug. Meaning the inability of stainless to fix it was shown once again after all this time.

To be honest, I hate bugs and I feel a little dirty that I do not concede when he mills my cards and I should be dead. But as a control player there are SO many bugs that cripple me I almost feel like I am entitled to a bug in my favor.

I think it's a matter of who benefits/suffers from a bug.

If my opponent makes the choice to play a bugged Disciple of the Ring, and doesn't end up tapping my creature, they chose to play a weaker card in their deck - I owe them nothing, I don't have to keep that unaffected creature out of combat. I feel it's ethically OK to take advantage of that bug.

If my opponent throws Declaration in Stone on me, and the card is imbalanced because I can't use the clues it generates on IOS, then that's not fair. Hence, I refuse to play Declaration in my decks, that would be unethical.

So in this case, they're using the bugged Eldrazi by choice, you're under no obligation to wait for the ability to resolve before removing it. The person at a disadvantage because of the bug can stack a different card if they don't like the results.

I think there's a bug with Kozilek, the Great Distortion. It needs quite an unusual scenario in order to happen: I haven't even found myself in that scenario, I only assumed that the bug is there after looking at the card's code. So if someone is bored and wants to check, here's what you need:
  • Kozilek under your control and ready to activate his ability
  • 2 spells on the stack: one with CMC=A, the other one with CMC=B (with A and B different numbers)
  • At least one card in hand with CMC=A, but no cards in hand with CMC=B
Now, try to activate Kozilek targeting the spell with CMC=B. Yes, you have no cards in hand that can pay the cost, but that's exactly the point. My prediction is that you'll counter the spell without discarding any card.

I think this is a manifestation of the "flipped cards have cmc 0" bug. If I use Displacement Wave X=0 to flip Thing in the Ice, instead of giving me an Awoken Horror on the battlefield TITI just gets bounced back into my hand. It should stay on the battlefield since the cmc should not change (cmc=2 in this case) just because the card flipped over.

That is exactly the case.

Should a Token Human created with Ulvenwald Mysteries and equipped with Slayer's Plate spawn a spirit token on death?

Because it does not and makes me sad :(

It should. The parenthesis part applies here:
110.5f A token that’s phased out, or that’s in a zone other than the battlefield, ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.)

Sadly Westvale Abbey Human Cleric tokens also want to make my equip deck even worse...

I hate you Slayer's Plate.

If you cast Confront the Unknown while Erdwal Illuminator is in play 2 clue tokens are generated, one from each card. However, the creature I targeted with Confront the Unknown only received +1/+1 (Note: Previously there were no clue tokens were in play). Is this a bug?

Obviously yes because Erdwal Illuminator trigger resolves before confront the unknown resolves.

No, not a bug. Confront the Unknown puts a Clue into play and buffs as part of its resolution; that Clue is the only one in play at that time. That triggers the Illuminator, so after Confront finishes resolving and goes to the graveyard, the Illuminator effect goes on stack then resolves, but Confront's already in the graveyard, so that doesn't change the buff amount.

The first time it happened to me I was unsure, but then I thought about it and it's correct: you can't interrupt spells/abilities with something else while they are resolving. It would be a different thing if Erdwal Illuminator had a replacement effect, such as "The first time you would investigate this turn, investigate twice instead".

My Greenwarden of Murasa just got hit with Grasp of Darkness and was promtply exiled. No question whether I wanted to exile him for a card or not. Just exiled by Grasp of Darkness.

Since he was exiled are you sure it wasn't oblivion strike?

Grasp should have killed him causing the trigger. Exile effects won't kill greenwarden

Could it be your opponent had a Kalitas on the field?
