I'm not sure I'm ever going to care about this bug more than the one time it just mattered but.... Emeria Shepherd does not let you choose whether to put the card into hand or play. If you play a plains, it asks if you want to use the ability (the first "may" on the card), but then if you choose to use it the card goes in play without asking (the second "may").
I think it's supposed to work that way. The word "instead" means that the land being a Plains overrides the whole first part of the ability with the second, so you are presented with either the first "may" or the second "may", there's no such thing as 2 cascading "may"s.

The rules manager of magic says the second may makes the replacement effect optional so you should be able to say yes to the first may but then say no to the second may.
Which makes sense since in an "A can do X but B can do Y" type situation the B is always connected to A and can't happen without A so in this case plains is both A and B.

AI played Confront the Unknown, for the Clue token. It lacked creatures so it targeted one of mine. The main flaw, the AI should have targeted the creature I had just summoned or it should have waited until after the attack phase. As it is, I dealt an extra point of damage to the AI for no real reason. Stainless has got to fix that one.

Not sure the AI's persistent stupidity counts as a bug.

The AI is getting worse and worse. Tapping out for no reason and stuff like that.

It seems to have real trouble dealing with activated abilities

Not that this goddang matters but my Tireless tracker was caught by Lunarch Inquisitors and stayed exiled after I hit the Inquisitors with Into the Maw of Hell, making me loss the damn game.

like saccing from beyond to grab a titan while at 6 mana? or discarding said titan next turn when it's hand is too full? :D

Does it ever do that when it matters though? I recently had it re-equip Slayer's Plate three times on the same creature, wasting nine mana but it did not matter because I had lethal next turn anyway no matter what it played (boardwipes or Ulamog included).

this crap needs to learn how to tap mana better. I shouldn't have to watch every spell to make sure it doesn't use all of one type that could be used for something else. for example 2 U 2 R available, I play artificers epiphany with fiery temper in hand to discard, it taps both red preventing me from casting. Of course, me not learning the first hundred times gave it the benifit of the doubt and discarded fiery temper already before noticing when it stayed in the grave.

I just noticed that I'm uncapable of quitting down to rank 0. Rank 1 is the lowest I can get. And one other odd thing, when I'm rank 1 and win a game, I skip rank 2 and go straight to rank 3! Very odd, I just tested it twice and both times skipped from 1 to 3.

You'll always be a rank zero in our eyes

I bet that's misbehaving Stainless code that is supposed to make you lose a rank if you are rank 2 or above when you lose a game or disconnect, but not if you are rank 1. The idea is, apparently, that you lose a rank as soon as you start a Versus game, then if you win, you gain 2 ranks for a total of 1 rank gained. But if you are rank 1, they made it so you don't lose a rank when you start a game. But you still gain 2 when you win, so there we go.

Jesus, Stainless just can't program anything right. They've gathered the most pathetic and lazy ass bunch of coders in Europe...

Thanks BB, it's comforting to know :)

I played a rank 2 yesterday, I guess he came straight from 0 then.

or down from 3.

The whole ranking setup really baffles me. I'm not sure why they decided to rank players instead of ranking the decks, that would create more balanced matchups.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but I caught the AI cheating. Or more likely, it was a bug. I'll summarize:

Turn 4: I cast Knight of the White Orchid and Declaration in Stone targeting Stoic Builder, then attack with Dauntless River Marshal and Expedition Envoy (buff by Always Watching). AI has no blockers and drops to 4 Life.

Turn 5: AI taps 2 Plains and 1 Forest to cast Angelic Purge, exiling Dauntless River Marshal.

As the game was that early I realized the AI's graveyard was empty, except for Angelic Purge. Both exile piles had our respective cards (Stoic Builder and Dauntless River Marshal). My graveyard just had Declaration in Stone. So, exactly what did it use to pay for Angelic Purge? It had no creature, artifact, or enchantment and nothing in its graveyard to even show for it.

Damn AI was salty that I was about to win... which reminds me, I'm going to return to my game to finish it off with my Knight and Envoy.

It would be more interesting, that's for sure...

Found a new bug.
Playing an Avacyn's Judgment from under an Abbot doesn't let you choose targets so it does absolutely nothing. Triggers prowess though...
