Lol I had to google it when I read his post. Like Elk's joke, my immediate thought was bowel movement.

I never got into Starcraft, so I don't know if BM is for a particular type of action. What is considered bad manners in winning?

In my experiences, there are two things that I can think may be considered that. = when an opp who could beat you just by attacking plays out their hand first for overkill (that same turn), and = when an opp who could beat you just by attacking passes the turn so they can keep dragging the game on.

is more common and doesn't bother me. I don't mind seeing what else they had in their hand, or how much they had the game in the bag. is super lame and I would def call it bad manners, but I've only encountered it a few times.

In SC2 it's things like not typing gg after being defeated, or in proffessional tournaments refusing to shake hands after a game.

@TIMH: I was talking about option 1. It's BM because it wastes my time, is gloating, and is meaningless other than to show me how much more dead I was.

1 doesn't bother me personally. As long as they don't durdle it only takes a few extra seconds and I don't mind seeing that: no, that card I was hoping to top deck last turn wouldn't have saved me. I've even has a few wins where I miscounted lethal and played out a full turn when I didn't need to - or had the instinctive 'oh crap, they have X mana open, I better be cautious here', when the only cards that could actually have stopped the inevitable don't exist in duels. I hope my opp didn't think I was disrespecting them, when I was actually just brainfarting or being over cautious.

Honestly, I had a very rough first month on this game. A couple of times I literally uninstalled it after a severe or trolly type loss. I recall the very first uninstall was after a player with 4 creatures 3/3 or higher, had 26 life, I was down to 2 life and stinking ranger. Whoever it was, felt it necessary to sit there and twin bolt me and my ranger then stalled for 3 minutes!! over the attack phase. Me, trying to be a polite duelist, rode the whole thing out.

I haven't really had a rage quit moment for a week or so, as I am trying to study how the cards actually work. Though I will still rage delete a deck.

Oh man, rage deleting decks is the best. Pure catharsis. Wait to you see what I do to Hakeem's physical decklist on camera when I get knocked out of the Fakeumite

Why would you play a deck created by someone who doesn't play the game and has no knowledge of the meta? I played with him last week and he didn't even know Greenwarden was fixed.

Is he really that far removed from the game? I just don't understand the complete 180 here. It's fine to be frustrated and step away but from what I've read, he's been 'extreme' and it seems out of character for him. Kinda disappointing

Hakeem did have a penchant for drama. But he also had serious connection issues with his Xbox, which turned him off the game. I don't really think it was the buggy release.

He said he's posted a **** goodbye post to NGA, which explained everything, but I haven't seen it, so I presume the mods have killed it for going too far. You can't go too far on these boards.

He posted a bunch of snarky comments, and ripped into Mythic Uncommon pretty good.. but there wasn't (another) 'I'm done' post. He was basically trying to get himself permabanned.. which is probably for the better, as he was dragging the place down by repeating the same 'I hate XYZ things' comments.. and posting about Hearthstone all the time.

He said he was having trouble 'breaking up' with the game.. always coming back and what not. Since he couldn't control himself.. I guess he got the mods to control him, for him. It's also pretty much the end of his channel and everything.

Having one guy complaining and talking about something not duels related at every opportunity must be super annoying, right beast?
