Another thing we should probably do at some point is get an updated list of M:EMbers, and, if possible, confirmation of how many of them have found their way over here so far.

While I'm not much of a producer of content (M:EMber), I am a Tumblr follower (M:EMnite) as well as an F&S regular and I am somewhat here. I'll be directing a majority of my attention to the Wizards boards for the time being, but will be interacting over here as well.

Predictably, I can't remember where I put the full list I typed up a while ago. It's in some thread. What thread it's in, I can't say.

Not much right now, but once we hav stuff to vote about, we can do it!

I'm planning to put "The Fallen Pharaoh" up for vote. We can vote on that, if you like.

What is the best way to do that over here? Should I just make a voting thread here in the M:EM board, or does it need to be further sub-divided?

The list would probably best be served by creating a stickied thread that we can update.

It's a pretty long list and we have a pretty good turn out.

Which reminds me: Adrisar was nearing "completion" (that is, it was ready to be called a world. the meta-plot I had for it was nowhere near): I just had to write a short for the Riftlands. When I do that, I think I will probably post it for review here, rather than there.

Out of idle curiosity, how do yall determine who is a voting member?

With the exception of the anthologies, if a person has a work which has been voted into the archives, they are a voting M:EMber. If someone is not in, but they have a work they would like included, they can request a voting thread be created, and if their work gets in, so do they.

Which reminds me, we'll probably have to make a voting request thread one of these days.

Incidentally, this account doesn't seem to have thread-editing powers, which I think was the plan... we should get that fixed soon in case we need it to shuffle things around.

Contact GobO_Admin for stuff like that. The M:EM Archivist should be able to sticky and move posts within the Expanded Multiverse board. For the time being, I'll make sure the proper things are stickied.

I've given M:EM Archivist the needed permissions. Please try it out and let me know if there's anything you need.

A few notes:

1. By giving the required access, the M:EM Archivist account is listed as the moderator of this forum. This is kind of annoying, but the only way I've found to give the correct access so far.
2. I've given identical access to the Art, Flavor, & Storylines forum for the convenience of moving any threads from that area that end up belonging to M:EM, but threads and posts in that area should not be adjusted, otherwise.
3. This probably goes without saying, but the edit/move/delete/split/merge permissions associated with this account are for organizational purposes only. Please rely on the report button or contact a moderator directly if there is a problem with any thread rather than editing, locking, or deleting it, even if there is spammy, malicious, illegal, or offensive content involved. I don't think this will ever be a problem, but I want to avoid even the possibility of a user complaining about any interference with their posts.

Being the official M:EM Archivist by position, unofficially being the official M:EM Archivist by virtue of volunteering to actually do it (and occasionally actually doing it); I feel I can say that it shouldn't be an issue. Personally, I never want to move the original threads because it looks cleaner when their posted new.

Although I do realize it tends to keep people from posting in the Archives, I don't see it as too much of an issue with the activity we should and do have on the parent M:EM forum.
