I guess it's illegal to sell real eagle feathers, but you can paint chicken feathers.

You'd almost think they wouldn't mind if it was just the feathers, but I suppose people would find it more economical to kill an eagle for all its feathers than gather up a few where they find them.

A felidar, luminescent in anticipation of prey. Is there any particular reason you're doing feather shaped pieces of wood? Maybe do one like a flower petal or leaf. You've already done the realistic feather. Think you could do a dragonfly wing?
