So many bugs. Are these bugs being reported or are we just talking about it here? I personally notice the pieces of the puzzle bug and the disciple of the ring cannot tap bug.

Its been a month and no patch... We are definitely just talking about them.

I predict that any bug fixes will only come with the fall/Autumn update, that will of course bring a whole new collection of new bugs for us to complain about. :)

So the AI just popped Vessel of Malignity right after my draw like an instant when the card clearly states it can only be used at sorcery speed, I.E. not my turn.

I have an Eldrazi Mimic and I play a Walker of the Wastes with a non-zero number of Wastes under my control. The Mimic becomes a 4/4. Shouldn't it get the Walker's power and toughness as they are at the moment? The card says "You may change Eldrazi Mimic's base power and toughness to that creature's power and toughness", it doesn't say "base" about the copied creature.

EDIT: The 4/4 Mimic became an 8/8 until end of turn after my 8/8 Walker died. There's definitely something wrong.

No... Because only the Walker has a +X/+X clause on it. Read Veteran Warleader for a card that works the other way.

Or at least, this is what I understand of the situation.

EDIT: I just took a look at the Mimic's code, and it's the (in)famous Mutilate bug all over again: the card continuously reads the values from the copied creature, rather than doing it just once. However it reads the creature's last known information, which somehow gave the correct result after the copied creature died.

I don't know then... I just read the rulings. If you are right, you should be able to boost the new creature's p/t before mimic resolves as well, like for example with Titan's Strength. We need a judge, lol!

I think Mimic is on Wizard's list of known bugs because it is supposed to copy the boosted P/T when it resolves but it doesn't.

What bug are you describing?
Did Welcome to the Fold remove summoning sickness / give haste? Or did it untap your tapped Heir to the Night?

It didn't have summoning sickness when it arrived on the opponent's side. I didn't see a Haste icon, like I would on a temp control card like Press Into Service.

(It was already untapped, and not sick on my side.)

If it didn't have summoning sickness, it wouldn't have it when your opponent gains control of it. Summoning sickness is only when a creature enters play, not when it changes control.

No, summoning sickness happens when you exchange control too, which is why Act of Treason gives the creature haste. It is indeed a bug if the Heir could attack the turn it was stolen.

Yea, removing summoning sickness (or in this case failure to re-add it) shouldn't happen so that's a bug alright.
Comp. rules extract:
Rule 302.6 wrote:
A creature’s activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost can’t
be activated unless the creature has been under its controller’s control continuously since his or her
most recent turn began. A creature can’t attack unless it has been under its controller’s control
continuously since his or her most recent turn began.
This rule is informally called the “summoning
sickness” rule.

Yup. so my thought is that maybe the transformed cards are "separate" cards in the game engine, with some anti-sickness code to allow swapping versions in/out to work, and that gets caught up on the Fold. I guess an easy test would be if someone has a Willbreaker on a non-sick transformed card, that would show if it's a very broad issue. (vs something wrong with Fold or Heir specifically.)

I'm not sure I'm ever going to care about this bug more than the one time it just mattered but.... Emeria Shepherd does not let you choose whether to put the card into hand or play. If you play a plains, it asks if you want to use the ability (the first "may" on the card), but then if you choose to use it the card goes in play without asking (the second "may").
(Why did it matter? Not actually casting it back to play skips over Bygone Bishop.)

I think it's supposed to work that way. The word "instead" means that the land being a Plains overrides the whole first part of the ability with the second, so you are presented with either the first "may" or the second "may", there's no such thing as 2 cascading "may"s.
