So basically a reanimation spell already told it that it's coming into play so it's already checking the amount as its moving zones?

here let me walk through a scenario just to make it real clear

the only card I have in my grave is the Diregraf Colossus

- I cast Necromantic Summons targeting Diregraf
- Both players pass priority allowing Summons to resolve
- The first instruction says "Return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield."
- This instruction is modified by Diregraf's replacement effect. After applying the replacement effect, it reads "Return Diregraf Colossus to the battlefield from your graveyard with a +1/+1 counter on it for each Zombie card in your graveyard." At the same time that we apply the replacement effect, we must determine how many zombies are in our graveyard. Currently I have one zombie in my graveyard
- Now that we have applied the replacement effect, we can actually move Diregraf from the graveyard to the battlefield and put 1 counter on it.

What happens if I reanimate the Colossus and a non-Zombie creature with Ever After? Does it count both creatures as Zombies in the graveyard or just on the battlefield?

The second creature only becomes a zombie upon ETB.

Sorry to dig this up but some more random questions about Altered ego, what would happen if I cast Essence flux on it and targeted an attacking Gideon? Would I just get the 5/5 indestructible or would I get the whole planeswalker deal? Also would I get the death triggers off something like greenwarden, seed guardian ect? Thanks!

So I looked into this a bit... I think it comes into play as a PW with normal starting loyalty, and +1+1 counters. Not as a creature at all. So for example, if you activate it later, it will be +X/+X, where X is the X you spent - but since you used flux to do this X is 0. In other words, you get a Gideon, and the X doesn't add loyalty, it still adds +1+1 counters.

I think DJ is right. I know because I've done it that copying an activated Lumbering Falls will give you a non-activated manland, not a hexproof creature. Also, I lost that game. Live and learn.

As to your second question, when Altered ego dies, any on-death abilities of the original creature trigger as normal.

I'd assume that an altered ego that applies to a legendary creature that becomes a Planeswalker it would not take the transform ability, it may trigger but there will be something about ownership. I would though imagine any transformation still applies as it's the same creature ie non PW transforming creature.

The transform ability is copied and triggers normally but only double sided cards can transform.

For a flip walker, it exiles and does not come back, due to not being a double sided card.

For a normal flip creature, nothing happens at all, for the same reason.

do flip cards count double towards delirium? for example a flip walker in the grave does that count as just a creature or a creature and walker?

only the non-flipped side count in the 'yard

But you bring up a good point. If you had an "Enchantment Creature", it would count as both. Good idea for delirium decks. We don't have an enchantment creatures in Duels tho

Yeah, it's just card types, like Goyf.

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

If we had some good Artifact Creature cards, delirium might even be a thing. We don't - right now - but one day... ... ... :D

Or if they wanna bring back Boon Satyr, I'm game.

EDIT: And we HAD Perilous Myr, before Wizards got spiteful.
