And yes, from what you can tell, the orcs are being beaten with tuna.

Hmmm... Something tells me cats and nekos will be drawn to these orcs for a while to come... And give my paladin a further need to bath.

Edit: Not that I meant for the two to be related!

Also... After reading other parts of NGA... I might be making a Religion roll after this.

...We didn't walk into no Sushi Easter ritual did we?

Once again headcannon sunk...

Before I take a free action to talk... Should I roll to recognize?

Shockwave07 rolled 1d20 and got a total of 15:

There's nothing religious about beating an orc with a dead fish.

Agreed.

I think I might try to send that to Out of Context D&D Quotes on Tumblr...

@rstnme: ...Saw the post and first thing that popped into mind was the Orcs from Lord of the Rings saying: "Looks like meat's back on the menu boys!"

...I may need mental help. :p

Hi team. My friend is an artist and wants to practice drawing fantasy characters. Could you write up a description of your pcs for me to forward to him? He might draw them! We have such a weird group I'm sure he will appreciate it.

It's been a while, but I finally got around to compiling a description of Aregano. To do it, I read back through all my posts to look at all the pieces of description I'd laid down up to now. Reading back over it all reminded me of how fun this campaign is. We need to get this game rolling again...it's awesome!

Description of Aregano:

Overview: Extremely Obese Eladrin Wizard.

Very fair skinned, pale.

White hair "buzzed" short.

5' 8" tall.

Generally friendly, grinning, jolly, jovial.

He's so fat, his "pointed ears" are not really "pointy"...more rounded.

Where most Eladrin (think elves) are all angles, he's all curves and rolls.

His eyes are pearly opalescent orbs of vibrant violet, lacking pupils.

No facial hair.

He has ample nostrils. (He likes to experience new smells, so he's often inhaling and flexing his nostrils. So not a pig nose/snout, but just wide nostrils.)

He has jowls and multiple chins.

His belly is so big that it hangs down like a skirt past his genitals.

He wears a beige loose fitting long sleeve shirt untucked, loose brown pants, darker brown boots, and a grey cloak.

He always has a brown leather satchel that he wears to one side with the strap across his chest (think messenger bag).

He also has a purple orb that he uses for spell casting that is often in his hand, or is in the satchel.

He almost always has a translucent purple hand floating near him feeding him something (like a sticky bun), or holding up a book for him to read. (He's lazy.)

He usually uses the apex of his belly as a resting place for his plump hands.

He's almost always snacking, so he's often talking with his mouth full. And it's not unusual for his shirt to have food or stains on it.

One spell he often casts results in gouts of flame pulsing from his orb and exploding when they hit the ground some distance away.

Another spell he often casts results in a forked bolt of lightning coming out of his orb and striking two different targets.

Hi guys! So I want to formally apologize for being a bad DM. My job over the last year has been extraordinarily stressful, and on top of that I had my first kid, and while she is the joy of my life I'm just so beat at the end of the day the idea to even post in this forum doesn't cross my mind. (Incidentally, it does cross my mind when I'm relaxed and have free time--like right now, when I'm on vacation.)

I'm going to have to put this game on hiatus. I'm looking for a new job and trying to destress my life, and as soon as I am able to, I will kick this campaign back up again.

Thank you so much for your time, your amazing roleplaying, and your incredible characters. I hope to be back soon.

*Nods, and tugs the tip of his hood*

Until then hope things to well.

Well, Aregano does find it distressing that he has to wait until some later date to have more snacks...

But yeah, autocorrect to the rescue...ha!
