Actual altering still escapes me, but I'm testing the waters of some alter adjacent work. This is something to keep your dice on to track the number of clues you have.

Yeah, I took acetone to a random foil common I had (I did it months ago, so no idea which one), which gives you that nice shiny blank, then I used a stencil to cut a piece tape and applied that to the card and painted over it. Then I touched everything up a bit. I really enjoy messing with foils and acetone.

I knew a guy who made a cube of custom cards by printing transparencies of his card designs and sticking them onto acetoned foils. It was pretty rad.

That does sound rad. I think I'm going to start experimenting with painting veeeeerrry lightly and see if I can keep the foil sheen.
