Disclaimer: the flavor of this game is leaning heavily on the Touhou Project shmup/manga series. It is not necessary to know about it, but I will use references to them.



The world of Gensokyo has had a fairly stable balance for quite some time. Youkai roamed free in their respective areas. Humans had one village where they could not be touched by youkai and the shrine maiden Reimu Hakurei was tasked with keeping this balance intact.
Over the years Reimu befriended most of the youkai with high influence, so only the newcomers or the young youkai only cause any more problems.
However, unbeknownst to Reimu, several of the youkai species have been trying to influence the humans to rally to their own cause. Several minor youkai have been spotted in the human village disguised as humans. There have also been sightings of high-end youkai disguised and it is believed that these are the ones who are trying to undermine the village.
Because these stronger youkai are using means that cannot be detected by just the shrine maiden, she asked some of her youkai friends to also come to the human village in disguise to find the ones that have been trying to upset the balance. If the human village falls, the power balance will be severely disturbed.

Also, I'm going to be strictly focused on Numbers as I am confident he will be one of the mafia for this game. The only correct course is one involving voting Numbers into oblivion (so to speak).

Clearly KoD, as Scum, is trying to get an early jump on me in order to eliminate his greatest obstacle. He knows that once voting is open I'll easily sway the masses and he'll be lynched as scum Day 1. Thus he needs to sour me before the game even starts in a clear scum move.

I must say this counterargument isn't entirely unexpected. My stated intent was to focus on Numbers because of my stated expectation that he will be scum in this game once the mod gives the go ahead to start. Obviously Numbers is playing in a scum-like manner by asserting I am scum. His style will no doubt transfer over into the game upon its start. Therefore he must be eliminated before he can bring his considerable skills to bear against all us goodly town players. Do not fall victim to his insidious fairy tales.

@Tiny, true to my word, the fight has been picked, out of respect for the sign up thread though, I'll save the rest for the game start.

@Shock, Rag Cult was a cutesy name designated to Ragnarokio and said "culted" players that formed a pact to not turn on each other until such a point was reached that all other non Rag Cult players were eliminated and the game hadn't ended one way or another, forcing them to take actions against each other. IIRC, their agreement to not act on each other included using abilities they may have on other Rag Cult members (positive abilities may have been exempted, ie doc role) and not voting for each other for any reason. While not technically against the rules of the game, it was generally looked down upon for going against the spirit of the game.
