I had a pretty fun game as priest. I got an early Shadowform, and then decided to focus on spells until I found a second one. Then I recombobulator@@recombobulated my Arcane Nullifier X-21 into a Maiden of the Lake, which was pretty lucky and basically won me the game.

Priest seems pretty good if you can just get enough minions to stabilize and then keep picking spells for Entombs and Mind Controls.

I like playing Hunter. Just pick spells all the time and bury people in CA with Lock'n'Load and Ball of Spiders.
Only played Priests though. Mages might burn me out before I get it going.

I can't think of another brawl that I've enjoyed more than this one.

I don't like it much 'cause I'm a lot better at resource optimization than resource selection, so these sorts of card evaluation things aren't great for me. I did wind up winning by playing mage and just always picking spells, wound up Mirror Entity-ing my opponent's Tirion, then getting there through multiple Ice Blocks and some fireballs to the face. probably won't play more. it seems like a good brawl, I'm not mad at it, but it's not really tailored to my strengths and I usually don't play brawls more than once unless I can farm quests there.

Mechazod remains my favorite, tbh, but this one is among the best.

Playing Rogue in this brawl is crazy great. I haven't had so much fun setting up sick combo turns since I played Battle Hymn-Burn at the Stake combo in AVR Standard.

This one is surprisingly interesting. I was using it to clear a Hunter quest and started out with a plan of picking minions first for early board then switching to spells, but that only worked 50/50. I had much more success just focusing on Hunter's Shots (which are as strong as hard removal here) and Lock and Load.

Paladin then was focusing on its strong minions, switching to spells for extra reach or buffs when I had board, and Priest was very focused on spells to control and grind down with Shadowform.

The comeback of "Encounter at the Crossroads" (the brawl with the totally random decks) is a good way to try the new cards, but winning with Warlock is almost impossible, and since I had both Shaman/Warlock quests, I have to clear them with Shaman only, which is a pity. Warlock has too many situational cards (where I also include cards with drawbacks that you can situationally ignore) and the chance to be stuck with lots of them is too high. I'm already behind, I play Wilfred Fizzlebang, then hero power and hope for the best... guess what I draw? Sacrificial Pact. :gross:

EDIT: I actually just won once with Warlock, with a Lord Jaraxxus finish. No stupid cards drawn, though, which was "UNBELIEVABLE!" (that's what Jaraxxus says with the new "Wow" emote :P).

Webspinner brawl returns, and I can't say how much I hate it. It has neither the fast-paced craziness of the Crossroads or Portal brawls nor the actual strategic element of the Raven Idol brawl.

The problem for me is that the classes aren't balanced. Hunters can do something good with Beasts, now Druids can as well (+2/+2, draw a card), Rogues can fight the Webspinners directly through hero power (Mages too, but Rogues need half the activations) and get some edge... but what about Warriors? I had the Warrior-only quest but I had to give up on doing it through the brawl because I couldn't win. I also tried Warlock... at least his hero power is good by itself, but when you find yourself with 2 Demonfuse in hand you wonder why you chose that class... :ahem:

It's tech for when they hit Malorne.
Webspinner brawl is pretty much the worst brawl, and it's absurd to me how Kripp can say he liked it when it first came out. At least crossroads at the mana storm or whatever ends quickly, so I can use it to farm, even if it's a garbage of a random mess. It's beyond me why they didn't just make 30×Shifter Zerus (or whatever the distribution for the current one is), all you'd have to do is make another one of those chalkboard drawings and make a dumb description.

They really should have had a brawl based around Standard in some way to help sell it, especially to newbies.

The last crossroads was all standard cards.

Also I'm not here.

Also nobody has been asking where I have been.

I actually like the asymmetry, especially when it favors classes that are usually weak in ranked and/or arena like rogue.

Rogue is considered one of the top classes in Arena though.

I didn't feel like making any assertions about ranked, since Rogues have generally had at least one viable deck throughout the history, and I think it's too early to make any statements on WoG. I don't believe they've ever been in the state of pre-LoE Priest and Shaman, even if they're no Warlock or Mage.
