Shadow Madness specifically targets enemy minions, but I did give her 3 attack specifically so she could be hit with it, due to being crazy and all. (Unless you meant the spell does nothing because it would end immediately. I'm not sure if that is the case or if it works like Magic now, where it rolls around to the next end of turn.)
