I don't know if this is a bug as much as it is bad coding/programming of the AI, but I've had several matches recently where the AI uses Reprisal against Ulamog or an attacking Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, both of which have indestructible. I've also had the AI play Aligned Hedron Network when there are no creatures with power 5 or greater on the board. Very strange.

Bug with Quest.

There's this "Champion of Sunpetal grove" thing, win 2 games in which you cast a Green or White card.

Went like 8-0 today w/ G/U Ramp, but when I checked the quest, it was still at 0/2.

I pulled out Boros Enchant against AI, and won those, and got it to complete. Quest might only be checking for White.

yeah that's happened to me with that quest. I had to play White to get it to work.

I think that's just the AI. I've noticed it seems to do stupid thing like that when it's about to lose. Suspect the logic system goes into fritz when it's in a checkmate scenario.

Not that the AI isn't forgiving in general, but I haven't noticed it doing the really pointless thing like playing a Hedron Network with no targets or Gideon's Reproach on a creature it can't kill with it unless it's on the ropes and you've got it dead to rights.

I have seen the AI play Hedron Network with no targets but only after I pumped up a dude to power > 5 in my turn.

Hmm. Maybe there is a bug in the AI. Along the same lines of what you said, I had the following scenario play out yesterday:

Me - tapped land
AI - land
Me - land, Slab Hammer
AI - land
Me - land, Elemental Bond
AI - tapped land
Me - land, Dust Stalker, draw card, attack for 5
AI - land, Razorfoot Griffin
Me - Dust Stalker again, draw card, land, attack for 5 (unblocked)
AI - Aligned Hedron Network
Me - :wha:

Without knowing what it had in hand, it's hard to tell if it was in a checkmate fritz - but it still had a few turns to try and draw something to stabilize. It seemed like maybe it saw me play a 5 power creature and triggered a response to play Hedron, but didn't recheck the board on it's turn to see it wasn't there anymore... Strange, anyway.

Recently experienced a scenario where I was casting Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger against an opposing board containing 1 non-land permanent and a stack of tapped lands.
I exile the non-land, then proceed with trying to exile a particular land, but since it's not on top of said stack, I am only able to target the land that is.

Prior to the BFZ update, the exact same thing was happening with Mwonvuli Acid-Moss.
Did submit this with WotC the other day, but figured I'd mention it just in case.

Also, hereby seconded/confirmed regarding the previously mentioned bug with Jace, Telepath Unbound's 2nd ability and Abbot of Keral Keep.
With Jace, the spell appears to get cast (animation starts), the counters are deducted from his total, yet no spell ever actually resolves.
As for AoKK, it does seem impossible to scroll down due to an unresponsive scroll bar when trying to cast from exile.

(game version, OS and device listed below)

I have all kinds of inconsistent results when targeting any lands that are in a stack. Sometimes, when I select one of the covered lands to zoom in to see what it is, it will still be highlighted after I zoom out. However, other times, a completely different land (usually the top land, but sometimes the bottom land) will be selected after I zoom back out. I've taken to counting the number of lands from the top my selected land is so that I can make sure I target the land I actually want. The AI cheats, I tell you!

Ulamog targets the 2 highest CMC permanents on it's controllers own field if the timer runs out. Screwed over a 2HG game.

Actually, I have to modify (part of) my previous statement.
As it turns out, if casting Uli with the intention of exiling land(s), picking the specific land(s) is much, much easier via the Land Browser (if they're stacked, anyway).
So I guess technically, it does work, it just really helps if you know where to look.. :V
I like the way they fixed this for Acid-Moss, maybe some day they could do the same here.

Ran into the planeswalker bug with Chandra. I have started to to right click my walkers more often for awhile now since it avoids misclicking abilities, however, when doing a bit of grinding vs the AI I was unable to ultimate Chandra for the finish using the right click method because it said there was no available targets.
This odd bug didn't happen in the zoomed in method thankfully so I still ended it there and then but it would've been a tad annoying if it didn't.

Ok I feel dumb but:

AI places a (Foiled) Brutal Explosion on the stack after I cast Mwonvuli Moss. Somehow it counters it.

I mean, am I missing something or...

Returning a card on the stack with cards like Brutal Expulsion automatically counters the card via game mechanics, though the card doesn't say counter on it so it can even "counter" Gaea's Revenge.

So can you do the same to Gaea's Revenge on the stack with a Disperse, which also doesn't say "counter"? If not, it would be an inconsistency.

Disperse doesn't target cards on the stack it only targets cards on the battlefield. The difference is that Brutal Expulsion targets spells and all cards are spells only when they're on the stack.

Also Gaea's shroud against all but green spells type ability only works on the battlefield for those confused about that, which also shows why it can be reanimated from the graveyard for example.

I guess you're right. I had to go to the Comp Rules for this one. Gaea's Revenge is not considered a permanent when it's on the stack and thus cannot be targeted by Disperse before landing on the battlefield

Comprehensive rules wrote:
110. Permanents
110.1. A permanent is a card or token on the battlefield. A permanent remains on the battlefield
indefinitely. A card or token becomes a permanent as it enters the battlefield and it stops being a
permanent as it’s moved to another zone by an effect or rule.

Maybe someone could verify whether the following is a bug.

I was playing a game last night and on my turn I had attacked with Skitterskin. On the AI's turn it responded by casting Sheer Drop, targeting the tapped Skitterskin. I responded by activating its regenerate. The resolution was my Skitterskin was sent to the graveyard. Is that correct or a bug? You can tell what I think by my post.

Unless there was no other circumstances and the regenerate went through, then, as far as I am aware, the Sheer Drop should not have worked and this is indeed a bug.

No other circumstances. It was the AI's turn and he started off by casting Sheer Drop, nothing else. Also, to confirm, I had 2 other eldrazi on the field, so I wasn't being prevented from activating the ability. As there are so few creatures with regeneration, I'm not sure this comes up that much (at least not for me).
