For a aggro deck I hesitate between Dragon fodder and Makindi Sliderunner.

The trample ability with Infectious Bloodlust or Titan's Strength looks interesting.
But a lot of you defend Dragon fodder that I haven't played yet.

Had to deal with the exact same question. I was running Dragon Fodder for a long time and replaced it recently with the Sliderunners. So far, the change has been working out.

Would you mind posting the deck list? Even if it is a work in progress, someone might have interesting insights for you.

For me, it comes down to what I want to do with my extra lands. In my deck, I hold lands in my hand once I have 3-4 on the board so I can use Molten Vortex. Dragon Fodder feeds both Foundry Street Denizen and Mage-Ring Bully at the same time. If you plan to play your lands, then the Sliderunner probably makes more sense.

The trample the Sliderunner provides is very helpful in getting damage through. The goblin tokens work well, as oolor13 stated, for the soon-to- be-banned Foundry Street Denizen and Mage-Ring Bully, and also helps with a go-wide strategy, but the prevalence of Radiant Flames makes it less desirable than it should be.

I run the Sliderunner in my RDW and it is a beast with the Enchantments on it, land drop or not. With a Call of the Full Moon, it straight dominates the early game and is wicked hard to kill/block for most decks.

I was wondering what silly things people were doing to pass the time til April 6th. Here is me:

I found a link to a decklist called "Red Lands" by PeepySqueeps on duels diaries (http://www.hauntedflower.com/blogs/duel ... e-very-end). The deck is a silly big red burnish controlly thingy with some tongue-in-cheek choices (the original MONO-RED list runs a single Acid Moss, probably just because it is THE meta defining card, etc.).
Since I'm a stickler for mono-red, and since I was bored, I copied the list and ran it against the A.I.; changing cards every 2 games or so. The A.I. didn't stand a chance: I think I lost like 3 games out of twenty-five and two of those were due to flood (which of course doesn't mean a thing competitively). I was having so much fun, I only realized how much I had played when I checked my gold total to realize I had nearly reached the gold cap! :takei:

Anyways, here is the list for your derision:

Creatures:
2x Abbot of Keral Keep
3x Pilgrim's Eye
1x Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh
1x Akoum Firebird
1x Avaricious Dragon
2x Akoum Hellkite
1x Oblivion Sower
1x Ulamog, the ceaseless Hunger

Non-creature spells:
4x Fiery Impulse
4x Twin Bolt
1x Ravaging Blaze
3x Rolling Thunder
2x Exquisite Firecraft
4x Touch of the Void
1x Aligned Polyhedron Network
3x Meteorite

Lands:
18x Mountain
3x Blighted Gorge
1x Mortuary Mire
4x Evolving Wilds

What are you doing on Duels to pass the time?

LOL! Oops! That's what you get, when a geek is trying to type from memory, I guess. Using the game in a non-English version wasn't probably helping either.

I classify this typo as too-funny-to-edit. Enjoy!

My limited Greek skills tell me that 'poly' means 'many' or 'several', whereas 'hedron' means 'surface'. So, yes, a d8 is a polyhedron. But so are all other dice, as far as I know.

I was sitting in an airport lounge a few weeks ago listening to these cute college girls talk about their Tinder experiences. One of them met with a guy who's profile description included, "Poly." and she had no idea what that meant. She goes on the date, he explains it to her and she bolts, lol. She thought it meant that he went to the local Polytechnical school.

Nope.

NICE!!! More proof for my hypothesis, that for a good laugh you have to go hang with the red mages. Burn for the giggles!

A D8 specifically is an octahedron.

Right, now I remember:

D4: tetrahedron
D6: hexahedron
D8: octahedron
D10: decahedron
D12: dodecahedron
D20: icosahedron (this one I had to look up, though)

While a D6 is indeed a hexahedron, we have a more accessible word for that particular hexahedron - Cube.

Hm. Only four discard outlets to fire off Judgement/Temper (and one of them being Chandra) really bothers me; I'd want to see a couple more.
Wolf of Devil's Breach is a great outlet for Fiery Temper, Ravenous Bloodseeker may also be a great fit.

I'd consider the Fiery tempers and Judgments as Touch of the Void and Twin Bolt with occasional upside :p

In testing those spells were really good because of the Tormenting Voice and Goblin Dark-Dwellers, but it was not to be :)
