Additionally, since it's netdecked ( ;) ) I'll be using this for my first netdecking video Beeswax. Since mono Green showed me a good time last night.

Excellent, like you said not the best RDW to showcase but offshoot(s) did the job - 3+ damagea turn can hurt but with an offshoot and some fatty to look forward to makes worth fighting for

Wasn't sure at first, so semi-teasing. I know you're around on steam forums and your original deck was very similar to mine. But yours was posted a few days before mine.
Frankly I just want some of the props for discovering mono-green ramp, since I've been playing it exclusively since late Origins :teach:

I should clarify my deck was designed to grind against A.I (hence the pump spells). I prefer my Gruul version lately (still mono-green with a splash of red for Omnath).

I go back to this mono-green Elf deck now and then, it's very consistent albeit perhaps not tier 1. If I have a convincing board I can hold back cards and sometimes come back after a sweeper has hit.

Bored while waiting for the expansion, I conceeded down to rank 0 from 40. I wanted to see if I could take this deck to rank 40 without cheating (shutting down the game while in windows mode to avoid dropping ranks if losing) and sure enough. Hit rank 40 again yesterday, only losing 6-7 games along the way.

I'm considering doing the same with mono-black.

I finally hit rank 40 with Origins-only mono-green ramp. I went 10-1 with this deck in my last two play sessions, and the one loss was due to a disconnect and may have been winnable. The goal of this deck is to cycle through cards like crazy, ramp, and find your big threats to end the game. Obviously this deck is going to be invalidated very soon, but the update may give it some interesting new options (Sylvan Advocate in particular).

Someone needs to make a Mono wastes thread, since it's actually a thing (I faced 2 of them this morning).

ON TOPIC: Thought Not Seer is the new Acid Moss. These devs at Wizards have played us for fools, making us think the days of turn four lose the game were over.

here's the difference TKseer is a rare, no where near the problem MAC was at common

If you want, you can look up lists from e.g. the Selesniya forums and replace the off-colour cards. I don´t think mono-green is going to be great, though.

Mono-G Ramp was a deck prior to OGW/SOI because you had Acid-Moss which stopped control decks, and your main selling point over e.g. Gruul Ramp was Nissa's Pilgrimage, which you could run over Natural Connection with impunity.
With the changes to the starter box, Nissa's Pilgrimage is overshadowed by Explosive Vegetation as your ramp option. I don't see any point to just play mono-G/C ramp, giving up boardwipes (or, in general, additional power) for nothing.

So, if you want to go mono-G; tokens or Elves seem like the way to go. Elves weren't amazing prior to the current meta and have lost Jagged-Scar Archers, making them weaker now. Tokens might be playable, but again you'd have to ask yourself what your gain is from not including White of Black.
