i think their plan is to remove support for aggressive archetypes while providing support for slower archetypes such that regardless of the value of a card in a vacuum, bigger cards are worth more than smaller cards on average, and thus need to do less to justify being played.

still probably not good enough to be played even if that panned out though.

Boogeymonster is a worse Gruul, and Gruul wasn't particularly great to begin with.

I guess it can be kinda OK if you pull it out of Paletress or Sneed's, but I wouldn't pay mana for it.

Maybe we'll get a "Brood of ___" card for each of the Old Gods? I can't imagine a cute Brood of C'Thun, though...

EDIT: It appears that the word "Brood" was a guess from translating the previewed card's language, while the real English name will have "Spawn" instead.

I am cool with it. To me, it's part of the theme of corrupting existing characters, though obviously this is in the other direction. A lot of angry comments on reddit though.

This seems to be taking the path of the Planar Chaos expansion in Magic, and maybe they really pushed it a bit too far with "good" Ragnaros, however I'll forgive them if the voice acting is hillarious enough.

Yes, it can attack and heal itself back up.

It seems like paladin is getting more healing this time, I guess in place of just high-value minions, to encourage a healing control paladin?

I'm looking forward to steamrolling Paladins with control and midrange decks after they lose all their early game and just get a truckload of healing as compensation.
