Recluse, but these are all kinda bad.

The recluse is actually pretty solid. Obviously, its usefulness depends on the number of flyers your opponent plays, but even as a straight 1/3 for 3, it stops the early onslaught. The only other worthwhile cards in this pack is Slaughter Cry, which is out of color and Soul Stair Expedition, which is an ok card: cheap card advantage, but terrible topdeck.

I'll take the recluse because I think green is more opened then black and although I like having one soul stair expedition in my black deck, I don't want too many and they're usually easy to come by.

Mind sludge is really back breaking if you're black enough, but it was significantly better in slower formats like 8th. Anyway, seems we're moving away from black (although I'm not giving up entirely, we only have 2 green cards vs 1 black), so I don't think sludge will be able to shine in our deck.

Explorer's scope is pretty mediocre. Even in a landfall deck, you don't know if you'll get a land or not until after you attack, so it's very unreliable. I'd rather take the 2/2 for 2. Kor outfitter.

I'm sorry lorthos, in another format, I would have loved to pick you, but last time I picked you in zendikar draft, I was never able to play you.

I like the scope and the outfitter here. The scope just needs to hit a land once for it to be worth a card. Still, the vote goes to the outfitter.

Dude, magosi is gives extra turn!

Alright, net.

Seriously, would magosi have been overpowered if it didn't go back to your hand after every use? Feels like overkill to me.

Yeah, I don't care how fast the format is, an 8/8 trampler for 6 is a freaking bomb. +1 for stomper.

We don't have good enough equipment to justify the white quest or kor outfitter, so for me its between splashing burst lightning or just going with the green quest.

Since the stomper came up though, we're pretty much solidly into green white now, so the quest will be a big help.
