Spike will try to look like a regular otter inside the channel as the other two talk to the orcs. He'll stay close enough to hear the conversation, but as hidden as possible. Let me know if you need any rolls from me (or if my plan is not possible).

Spike can peek up and see what's in the cave. It's probably safe to assume the water way is the shushi's preferred method of travel and you're in it.

BTW boss, I'm having a hard time making a mental image of those shushis. Can I get a picture, or at least a description of their anatomy?

My mental image is of the D&D 3.5 HUGE orc head, complete with hair, on top of a bulked up webbed hand and foot aquatic thing body. Oh and scaly faced too...

They look like body builder sahuagin. They have the gray skin and muscles and tusks and under bites of orcs, but also fish fins, etc. So throw some Orc into this pic and that's what they look like: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahuagin.
