Child of Night may have been there.. bc I remember thinking to myself 'What is this.. a vampire deck?'

I just don't like that card 2/1 for 2 mana is just weak. Surely with Hagra u can force opponent to block it and get kill with death touch or just gain 3 life for free and even boost ur Bloodbond. I see some synergies here that could make Child of Night worth to play in this.

I've played around alot with temur, and in my opinion temur ramp (which is basically simic ramp + flames) is one of the best decks in the meta; but I wanted absolutely to get to a stable monster version; after alot of testing, here it is:

TEMUR MONSTERS, final version.

3 x Gatecreeper vine
3 x Elvish Visionary
3 x Skyrider Elf

1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
3 x Bounding Krasis
1 x Reclamation Sage
3 x Natural Connection
2 x Radiant Flames

1 x Kiora, Master of the Depths
2 x Whirler Rogue
1 x Akoum Firebird
2 x Woodland Wanderer

2 x Outland Colossus
1 x Chandra's Ignition
2 x Lumbering Falls

2 x Drowner of Hope
1 x Woodland Bellower
1 x Oblivion Sower

1 x Plated Crusher
1 x Omnath, Locus of Rage

2 x Rolling Thunder

4 x Island
4 x Mountain
6 x Forest
2 x Cinder Glade
2 x Rootbound Crag
2 x Hinterland Harbor
2 x Sulfur Falls

So this is how you play this pile, don't worry, it's very easy:

You got 9 2 drops to set up (don't be afraid to play a t2 2/2 flier, this deck has some reach, so damage done counts for alot); then you identify wether you are the beatdown or the control in the match; and play accordingly. You can ramp T3 or play above the curve beaters. You got lots of low toughness guys + flames, but the dorks are mainly there to set you up incase you are expecting moss/being aggroed down; all of them will get value on cast or can dodge flames by casting flames for x=2. From t4 onwards, you should be the meanest, baddest, biggest, curve machine around. You have some massive curve toppers in omnath and 2 rolling thunder; but the standard 6 drops should get you there in most matches.

Because it lacks spot removal, the deck does kinda forfeit t1 chaser into t2 Full moon on the play, but you still have outs by chumps and then tapping their dude with krasis, and then presenting 2 big blockers t4, or playing visionary + another blocker t4 to make full moon go away. anything besides that god hand, though, this deck is favoured to outlast vs rdw, play or draw.

An argument could be made to sub Greenwarden over Sower/Bellower, since the deck has rolling thunders + kiora, but thepile is able to put enough pressure out that 1 resolved burnspell should win the game. The sower is another huge beater in a deck full of big beaters and makes your follow up thunders bigger. Bellower is 6 mana for 9 power or 8 power + tech so I kinda prefer that proactive play over a slower 5/4 + best card in yard in this build.

This is as good as I could get it. I'll retire from this thread now :p

Been fiddling with this for the last few days. It's kinda like my old Temur list, but more air power, less ground power, and faster overall. Yeah.. It's the whole Thopters/Evoleap thing again.. with some new additions:

4x Twin Bolt: Bc Allies, RDW, and Thopters are pretty prevalent in the meta currently.
1x Akoum Firebird: Bc it's freaking great.. and it does exactly what we want to do here.
2x Woodland Wanderer: Bc it's also freaking great as it attacks well and eats up the ground.
2x Brutal Expulsion: This is one I'm testing.. but it could be Part the Waterveil and Woodland Bellower.
2x Guardian of Tazeem: I love this thing.. sets up favorable attacks like a boss, and attacks very well itself.

Notably absent is Skyrider Elf.. because it underperformed over and over again. Believe me.. it was here for at least 10+ games.
So.. yeah.. this is: Mega Temur
4 x Gatecreeper Vine
4 x Elvish Visionary
2 x Evolutionary Leap
4 x Twin Bolt

3 x Thopter Engineer
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
1 x Reclamation Sage
3 x Bounding Krasis
2 x Exquisite Firecraft

3 x Whirler Rogue
1 x Akoum Firebird
2 x Pia and Kiran Nalaar
2 x Woodland Wanderer
2 x Brutal Expulsion

2 x Guardian of Tazeem

3 x Island
3 x Mountain
5 x Forest
2 x Lumbering Falls
2 x Cinder Glade
2 x Rootbound Crag
2 x Hinterland Harbor
2 x Sulfur Falls
1 x Gruul Guildgate
1 x Izzet Guildgate
1 x Simic Guildgate

Considered Bellower? It could round off the 6 drop and can act as a second enchant/artifact killer or grab you a sorcery speed Krasis to attack for game (or a land for Tazeem).

Yeah I had Bellower in there.. but it tended to be win more. It's certainly a fine card for what the deck wants to do.. so is Drowner of Hope and Part the Waterveil. You could play all of those six drops of you wanted.. cut whatever you feel is warranted. What I'd really like is some type of mana sink creature for when I'm topdecking.

What I've learned from Izzet Prowess is that the trinity of Thopter Engineer, Whirler Rogue, and Pia and Kiran Nalaar is just powerful. It requires a sweeper from your opponent to deal with it effectively and flying is absolutely huge in the current meta. Those thopter tokens are golden. I imagine they're just super-stupid with Evo Leap.

Any Evo Leap deck should be playing 4x Gatecreeper Vine, 4x Elvish Visionary, and 4x Perilous Myr so that's 14 cards. Then you have the Engineers, Rogues, and Parents, so we're up to 22. Add Krasis and we have 25. Now you have the best engine in the game backed by the best value creatures. I think you could play 35 lands and still win a ton with it, so whatever you want to do with those last 11 slots is really up to you. I would go with burn and some fat, personally (4x Fiery Impulse, 2x Exquisite Firecraft, 1x Ravaging Blaze and four fatties, maybe 2x Outland Colossus and 2x Gaea's Revenge).

On the Spike side, though, this could be the best deck in the current metagame if you refine it well enough. The only potential problem is the mana but with Gatecreepers fixing and checklands coming in untapped, I think it should be fine. We don't have to play 12 taplands this year in 3-color like we did last year.
So is there an actual ThopterLeap deck I can steal? :3

Ohh okay nice. :3
Who, me? Didn't think I had a presence here at all, with my measly 120 posts of saying "thanks, I'll steal that deck!" :P

Guys... I screwed up, big time; I had the chance to force a draw by hitting both myself and my opp for exactly all of our life totals with Rolling Thunder and instead pointed it all at his face. :(

deck list coming soon, "Temur Time!"

Started off as a landfall elementals deck that a friend challenged me to build, but I realized (or rather, was reminded) how strong of a win condition Gaea's Revenge was, and so I started to fine tune the deck around dropping it early and kept adding more control until I eventually dropped many of the original elemental cards and went full on permission-mode. Does great against most match-ups, including mill. I have yet to face a single Thopter player with this, so I don't know how effective it is in that match-up, particularly, but I'd like to think that counters, rec sage, and 3.5 sweepers should give me the edge.

Oh, and besides the off-hand reference to power rangers (Mighty Morphin), the 'time' refers to the big blue guy I dropped as I continued fine tuning the deck.

I feel Infuse is one of those sleeper cards, especially with hexproof creatures or creatures who benefit from buffs

Well I can't take credit for the idea.

BOH has a bant aggro deck that is basically pure green splashing white and blue for skyrider elf, krasis, castellan. I played vs him using my a sultai control deck which I like vs creature aggro and got WRECKED when I figured I had the game in the bag despite a very agressive hand from him on the play. Basically he turned his wanderer into a 10/10 trampler t5 with Infuse with the elements when I figured i'd be able to stabilize and turn the corner come my t5.

It made me dig up some old decks I had, and I tossed this together in 5 minutes. It's in no way finetuned; it mulligans horribly, but you DO have to mull agressively; but when it has a decent hand it can punch through anything. The creepers could out for Evolving wilds and playing more land, but this way I get to set up mana whilst stacking my hand. They then become a racing tool as disposabe blockers whils I slam in with visionaries and the like :)

The creepers can be funny, since you tend to open like any green deck. Generally when I pass the turn with 3 land up they think i'm some sort of control deck. In comes the krasis and the mayhem.
I had a game where I was up vs MossNaya and though I generally think the best play is to drop Abbot t2 if nothing else is around, vs a deck with so much potential removal I dropped .... kreeper into jace, durdle, durdle, get mossed twice, meanwhile stacking my hand. When I finally played an abbot he didn't think much of it. He dropped a colossus and ignitioned it after I flipped jace. Disperse. Killed him in next two turns with a flurry of pumps and burn.
Also ramming through thopters was fun. Twinbolts + pulses for the lords, Krasises slamming in or wreacking havoc on their blocks combined with pumps/bolts, and trample lategame really make their rogues look puny. It's hilarious because they think they are the beatdown until it's too late =D

Removed Twin Bolt for Plummet and haven't looked back. I found that it was fairly easy to deal with thopters with my 3 board wipes and counter spells, so I should focus more on outliers that might squeak past my defenses, like Soulblade Djinn, Guardian of Tazeem, Alhammarret, and Kothophed. It's even great vs enchanted creatures!

Updated Temur Prowess, going a bit more all - in and a bit wider:

3 x Fiery Impulse
4 x Titan's Strength

1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
2 x Abbot of Keral Keep
4 x Dragon Fodder
3 x Mage-ring Bully
2 x Disperse
4 x Twin bolt

3 x Jhessian Thief
3 x Bounding Krasis
2 x Exquisite Firecraft

1 x Akoum Firebird
2 x Woodland Wanderer

3 x Infuse with the Elements

2 x Lumbering Falls

3 x Island
5 x Mountain
2 x Forest
2 x Cinder Glade
2 x Rootbound Crag
2 x Hinterland Harbor
2 x Sulfur Falls
3 x Evolving Wilds

Think this is the best version. Gnarlids were bad topdecks, so are bullies, but they offer more power in a given turn, and visionaries, whilst cantripping, provided only 1 body, so I THINK fodder probably works better. Our free mulligan helps this deck alot; since otherwise the manabase would be slightly too anemic.

All in all it's just a build I wanted to do in honour of Boh's discovery of Infuse with the Elements; which is a huge blowout vs the average pub. Come the expansion, if we get the likes of stormchaser mage and the prowess 2/1 flier, and alot of other Oath assorted support, there will probably be no reason to splash green searching for extra power.

Ey, guize, guize!! I have included Tide Drifter in a deck! Yay! Another landmark reached....I'm so deeply moved...

NettleVile

4 x Blisterpod
3 x Salvage drone

2 x Tide drifter
3 x Mist Intruder
3 x Perilous Myr
2 x Twin Bolt

3 x Vile Aggregate
4 x Eldrazi Skyspawner
2 x Pilgrims Eye
4 x Nettle Drone
1 x Retreat to Coralhelm

2 x Eyeless Watcher
2 x From Beyond

1 x Drowner of Hope

1 x Ulamog

4 x Island
4 x Mountain
4 x Forest

2 x Rootbound Crag
2 x Hinterland Harbor
2 x Sulfur Falls
1 x Foundry of the Consuls
4 x Evolving Wilds

Main plan: t4 attacking 5/5 trampling VA that will become bigger each turn alive...a lot bigger...like albino, shoggothy Oran Hydras at half cost, just saying...
Hint: against the AI (or some W players) try to have your Aggregates half made of Scions...so you can dodge the inevitable Reprisals

Secondary plan: Nettling opponent to death...from t4 onwards, each ND on the field has to do between 1 and 6 (3 being the average) points of damage...Retreat should help with this, and with finding your creatures, just remember to not lay 2 against Tbolts

Tertiary plan: lots of scions + FB = Drowner or Ula, with all the scions I have the 10 mana in many long games

Simple, focused deck...that with Oath should mutate into Radkos, maybe Dimir, probably

I like that there's no double color requirements anywhere, that helps a lot with the mana...14 sources of each color should be more than enough to cast anything there, and you don't really need to cast your 1CC creatures the first turn, but as pumpers for VA or enablers for Nettle damage a bit later

Haha, I peaked at rank 40 again (from 34 that I was) with that^...thing...having a 7/6 trampling shoggot attacking in t5 is fun, same has doing 9 points of no-combat Nettle damage in one turn, my record till now. :P
