Bloodseeker now the best hero in the game, and a ******** more.

Pick Chen. Done. Or Mek and still TP.

Broodmother was overdue for a buff and it's great she got it, however there still is the issue of finding a significant role for her. She can own now, but at the same time it feels like you can disregard her existence in a game still.

the Bloodseeker and Broodmother buffs were basically perfect. they got the same niche and weaknesses but now can do really fun cool **** without being overpowered even if people whine about it. BS could honestly maybe use a little more just cause his weaknesses are soooo brutal. I think brood is really good now, yeah its a niche as well but she can do her job really well and its up to your team to take down the other two lanes before you have to 5v5 (4v5 since brood) too much.

I think Bloodseeker is fine atm. He is a situational pick, but he strives in those certain situations. Brood on the otherhand makes me wonder, really what is her niche or optimal situation? She is a potential carry and a decent pusher. Her lane dominance right now is superb, however even after a fantastic laning phase her carrying potential plummets since she is easy to counter/disregard so in the end it seems rather meaningless. Her pushing is good, but easily negligable and countered with even just one decent counterpusher on the other team and her counterpushing is subpar as well so in the end yet again a pushing role seems sub-optimal. I think what hurts her a lot is the lack of lane prioritizing shift like Furion does with his Teleport. Her webs don't cut it in this instance either although it does help for faster traversal from lane to lane.

I tried playing Dota 2 when it came out and was massively disappointed because it lacked so many of the quality of life implementations in HoN, so I just stopped playing both for some reason.
I don't care how incredibly aesthetically pleasing the art style is, I'm physically unable to navigate that shop efficiently.

Watching MLG Columbus.
Wisp-CK is dominating
After the nerf
played by an Asian team
with Burning on the CK.

What is this I don't even know.

EDIT: there's an easy way to answer questions about balance:

I've always thought Wisp's nerfs were minor because the main advantage of that hero is still that insane duo teleport and that wasn't altered at all.

I have had the opposite experience, but I guess it depends on when you've tried out Dota 2. Then again I've found Dota 2's shop more intuitive even in beta and easier to use than HoN's off the bat.

The easiest interface to use will usually be the one you're more familiar with, or whichever game you tried first.

MidasDOTA new meta. And if Na'Vi cheesepush can't punish it, I don't know what can.

Dota 2 matchmaking pairs you with people of roughly equal skill levels. That doesn't stop people from talking **** about their teammates. It's like if the wrathful in Dante's inferno were constantly bitching that they had to be in the same circle as the sullen feeders.

I can't remember when it was, fairly long ago. I couldn't find any shop keybinds, which I don't think I can actually live without, and that was something DotA originally had, not HoN.
As an aside, HoN's shop is more or less identical to DotA except not spreading it out between different shopkeepers.

Dota 2 shop is pretty easy. It's simplified down to 1 shop, there's a search bar in case you can't find what you're looking for, and you can set things to quick-buy.

Did you seriously try out Dota 2 (again)? O.o Play with me if so. :D

On a serious note regarding the courier, you can bind it to a key and all its abilities are also key bound (that you can customize) so in effect it is another controllable unit whose purpose is to bring your items in lane. This in effect can help you stay in lane for the majority of the game instead of going back to base/side shop/secret shop for certain items. I usually set my courier to the G key, and QWERDF for its abilities as is the default; or F3 I think is the default key to automatically give you your items instead of D+F. You can also hasten the courier to speed up its delivery but pressing the appropriate haste button; I keep forgetting to check if there is a key for that.

Courier can also use/activate certain items in the game such as Smoke of Deceit, and even use items such as Dagon if you manage to give it mana last I checked.
