There are a lot of possible skill choices for Xul. I'm guessing that each basic skill will come from a different skill tree - maybe Q = bone shield, W = summon skeleton, E = amplify damage. Then one of his ultimates would be poison nova, and it'd be cool if they could make the other one into Revive somehow?
Azula Li-Ming was, frankly, coming seeing as we had all the other d3 heroes (Sonya, Nazeebo, Kharazim, Johanna, and Valla). She seems pretty cool, though. Xul is a pleasant surprise.

(Xul is wearing his default level 1 rags. His iconic bone armor look is likely to be his Master Skin.)
My guess is Li-Ming will come first, around Chinese New Year. Her splash certainly suggests so. After that we probably get Xul around April, then Tracer in June at Overwatch release. Of course, this is just speculation.

We already know his abilities:
Xul (Melee Specialist) D - Skeleton Raise Raises up to 4 skeletons from dead minions to push a lane. Lasts 15 seconds. Q - Spectral Reaper Reverse skillshot. Creates a scythe that moves toward Xul, Hammerang style. A waveclear and poke. W - Cursed Strike Enhances Xul's autoattacks to deal area of effect damage and slow enemies by 50% for a short duration. E - Bone Prison Target hero gets a warning. 2 seconds later, they get rooted for 2 seconds. R1 - Poison Nova Massive AOE damage. R2 - Skeleton Mages Similar to Force Wall. Creates a line of mages that autoattack and slow enemies with their attacks. Does not impede movement.
He also has a whole bunch of talents that mimic his other spells: Bone Armor, Bone Spear, etc. Word is he's a fantastic counter to melee assassins, and can be built like a disabler with Cursed Strike or a split pusher with Skeleton Raise.
If you didn't know, here's Li-Ming's skillset:
Li-Ming (Ranged Assassin) D - Critical Mass Getting a kill or assist resets all of Li-Ming's cooldowns. Q - Magic Missile A skillshot that shoots 3 projectiles from 3 different locations around Li-Ming. W - Arcane Orb A long range skillshot that explodes on impact. Deals more damage the longer the distance traveled. E - Teleport A short-ranged blink. R1 - Disintegrate A giant death laser. Controlled similarly to Diablo's Lightning Breath. R2 - Wave of Force Similar to Morales' grenade. A long-ranged nuke that knocks enemies away and disrupts channeling.

Turns out the most fun way to play Cho'Gall is to grab a friend and spam the chat as a standup comedy duo for the entire game. I was the funny man Gall to straight man Cho and it was a blast. Some highlights:
Quote:
Gall: "GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN. I REALIZE YOU GUYS ONLY HAVE ONE HEAD BUT STILL TRY YOUR BEST." Cho: "POOR TEAMMATES, HAVING ONLY ONE HEAD" Raynor: "I have another head in my pants" Gall: ":O"
Quote:
Gall: "HEY. HEY CHO. ARE YOU THINKING WHAT I'M THINKING?" (Cho is busy microing and doesn't respond) Gall: "OH RIGHT. I FORGOT YOU DON'T THINK MUCH." Gall: "" Cho: ""
Quote:
Gall: "HEY CHO" Cho: "WHAT IS IT GALL" Gall: "WHAT HAPPENS IF WE TAKE THE GARDEN TERROR?" Cho: "LET'S FIND OUT" Gall: "WHAT IF I DIE? I'M SCARED CHO" Cho: "BE STRONG GALL. BE STRONG FOR MOTHER." (Cho takes the Garden Terror) (Gall: (spamming Shadowflame everywhere) "HOLY CRAP I'M ALIVE THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER"
Quote:
Raynor: "nice gank cho" Gall: "IT WAS ALL ME" Raynor: "no, cho controls the legs" Gall: "BUT I CONTROL THE DAMAGE????"
Quote:
(Cho mounts up on a Mechanospider) Gall: "CHO RIDING A SPIDER. IS THIS SPIDER CRUELTY???" Cho: "IT'S A MAGIC SPIDER" Cho: "I HOPE" Gall: "HOPE DOESN'T BRING DEAD SPIDERS BACK CHO"
Quote:
Gall: "TAKE ME CLOSER I WANT TO SHOOT THEM WITH MY HANDS"
That's pretty cool. I can never find anyone to play Cho Gall with any more.
Hadn't played in a while and didn't know about the patch that made towers do 50% more damage to heroes. Wondering why I kept dying with warriors when I didn't used to die that much - especially Chen who used to be able to stand in front of two towers drinking and reducing their ammo to zero. Don't know if I wanna buy Chen now; I'll wait and see what future changes they make.

I'm having a lot of fun with Li-Ming. She's really unforgiving to play while you're getting the hang of her abilities -- if you can't land your skillshots, you're basically a a crappy Sgt. Hammer -- but when you get the ball rolling she's an incredible teamfight ender. Hitting enemies in fog with blind Magic Missiles... psychic max range Arcane Orbs... teleporting in rapid succession for Calamity kills... I've made some crazy plays in the short time I've played with her, and I feel like I've only scratched the tip of the iceberg. She really feels like a super high skill cap hero that you can always improve with.

No, but they spawn constantly and deal respectable damage. They're a source of inevitability for a Xul in lane.
I'm saving up my gold for now; there aren't any heroes that I desperately feel like buying. Hoping for Gul'dan to be announced to fill out the mage roster -- I want to drop Infernals on people and give them the Finger of Death! Make it happen Blizz!

The Southeast Asia Spring Championship 2016 is starting right here in Singapore! I'm pretty excited. There are two major Singaporean teams, Relics and Resurgence Gaming, and both of them are no slouch in the competitive department. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out, and how they're going to divvy the sweet, sweet US$22.5k prize pool.

In true Warlock fashion, you got your wish… but not quite.
Finger of Death wouldn't have fit his role of sustained-damage mage, though.
