I dunno, u can go tall or wide depending on the draw. But yeah, Sigil doesn't get along with Tactics or Gideon.

I see your point...probably is a thing of mine, I tend to favor versatility against consistency...which is a bad decision almost always, lol. My decks tend to be a bit disperse, yep :P

Edit: I think I have tried almost all substitutes for the Sigils...and they stay, after all...they just give you options in a deck that's pretty linear, and that's great

My first attempt to bestow my deck lists to you people. Just made it this morning.. probably put my "good" chandra in there for the 0/1 phatties.
Maybe even put in a "look for" equipment because my weapons trainer seems out of place.. probably remove enchantments or something..and put in some weapons.. Maybe lower my mawnaw count, and get rid of infectious and for weapons. >_<

How about some Innistrad token action? Before the expansion release I really thought this type of deck had something going for it. Now we've got some sweet cards like Hanweir Militia Captain and Westvale Abbey. Here's what I'm trying:

Red Drazi felt a bit too slow lacking critical mass in duels to really be decent.

This is a boros version, the mana is a little bit wonky, but, the power level is way higher.
Eldrazi Displacer has lots of wombo comboes in this deck: Pia and Kiran nalaar? make 2 thopters a turn ! Thought-knot seer ? Vendilion Clique your opponent + pump your mimic :D. Archangel Avacyn ? Instant speed boardwhipe protection, do this on the upkeep after you sacked a thopter for Plague wind effect !

Nahiri, the harbinger enables madness for Fiery temper or Avacyn's Judgment, or comboes with Displacer, alternatively she can just tick up digging for Chandra with the promise of fetching you an archangel for an indestructo attack.

The gideoi also have good utility here, Gideon does what we all know well, but now has added relevance due to Westvale Abbey. Kytheon is a relevant late play and works extremely well with Obligator, Thopter engineer, and reality smasher because of the haste, making 3 dudes swinging out of nowhere.

Declaration in stone is a contender for the best removal in the format, and Archangel Avacyn, is just what the doctor ordered.

Cards I'm on the fence about : Eldrazi mimic, manabase, lack of good 2 drops in general.

One of the most popular netdecks I see on steam currently is RN's Mardu green walkers deck; and Red drazi didn't have the power to push through. This does. Not saying it's favourite, but so far I'm 2/1 vs that deck, and the loss was due to not seeing 3d land in top 11 cards.

This might be one of the more powerful midrange decks I've played so far in the new format.

Things I've been considering/thinking about:
- Used to play 1 x Abbot Of Keral Keep. It's another early drop/has plays late game if drawn...but the priority bug makes it too frustrating for me.
- There's no reason to play Ampryn Tactician over Inspiring Captain, is there? Just feel like I'm missing something about two identical cards, one easier to cast than the other.
- Is that Weapons Trainer any good for this deck? Two toughness without first strike seems tough given that I usually want to drop untapped white mana on turns 1 and 2 and the equipment package is pretty small in the deck, but it IS efficient as a card overall.
- Nahiri, the Harbinger is in here because as the game goes on, it's nice to have some looting capability. If the game goes late I'll be looking for my Kytheon's Irregulars to set up an alpha strike or using them in conjunction with this to destroy an opposing threat or two. But it might be better to just drop her and add another creature (Weapons Trainer?)or removal card?

put a "Can't be blocked" instant in there or two?

^I'd put 4 Topan Freeblades in there, probably by swapping out Kinsbaile Skirmisher. Akroan Sergeant is pretty weak too -- you might try a few copies of that 1/1 flier with double strike. That'll win a game by itself with Slayer's plate on it. Militia Captain might be a good option too.

Yeah, that's my feeling on Akroan Sargeant, he's weak. I just wasn't sure what card is the best replacement for him.

I'm hesitant on the Topan Freeblades, though I realize it's a good value creature, just because I find with the first strike subtheme, it's important that there's pump effects that make combat tip in my favour as the opponent starts to develop a board presence. Always want to be trading up or forcing an attack where I don't lose a creature (hence the first/doublestrike). This deck is more about pumps and first strikes than spells that allow damage to get through.

Militia Captain looks like it's worth a closer look for sure, though. Maybe I start with a 1 of him in place of the Sargeant. Or that double striker. I must've missed the part where it's a flier.

Description
Boros Humans aggro deck. Very few instants, not affected by the priority bug other than clues from Bygone Bishop.

How to Play
Nice team pump affects from Thalia's Lieutenant and Always Watching. Go wide (but don't overextend). Attack aggressively. Play Thalia after you have some humans on the field as a sorcery-speed permanent pump.

Maybe...the 3 CC row is already clogged up, so it's between Oaths and Gearcrafters...it's difficult to choose between 3 power (1 f) + synergy with P&K and 2 flying power + a marginally better Chandra...if I hadn't Sigil there, I 'd probably choose the Oaths...but as most of the time I attack with just 1 creature if I have it out, the 2 power becomes useful as a better blocker in a deck which sorely lacks that...but I'll have to playtest such a subtlety. :) Also, Oaths don't trigger Bishops...

If Declaration in Stone become as ubiquitous as I expect, I well can make the change to have as much kinds of different tokens as possible...

Sure, yep...tho Nahiri can be a way out from a lethal (tapped) fattie or enchantment.

Chandra, besides being sick in herself, combs with half the deck...imagine Cha-Cha with Valor on board...or Wayward Disciple...Gideon emblems, Flameblades, DPs etc etc

Ok, I tested Boros Tokens some more, and as expected, the improvement over the pre-SoI version is very noticeable

Btw, Valor stays...I was wary of my inner Jonhnny but...
