Maraxas and I are not the same person so yeah there would be more than one person to play with!

The zombie spawner was very convenient, so kudos to whoever set that up (I assume Maraxas--it showed obvious Keldon design sensibilities). Hope you don't mind me borrowing the nether wart for a while to grow some more, but I replaced it with interest.

I like the treehouse setup to the north, but didn't see too much else going on in a cursory search--how far away is the village the sign mentions?

The village is in a desert kinda far. I have honestly not played in about 2 months so I need to update the snapshot. Treehouse is mine and if you continue playing I'll try and get my gang back into it.

Ah, there it is--finally found it after a bunch of searching. Must have drifted in the water. Built a portal, but haven't used it yet, because sound captions are unexpectedly useful for noticing sounds that otherwise would have been too soft to hear properly--like a minecart rolling briefly as you're building a portal.

Did you know your village is right by an abandoned mineshaft system that, in addition to the normal cave spider spawner, also contains a zombie spawner? There may be more--I haven't finished exploring yet.

It varies a lot depending on my work schedule. Pretty much any time is possible, though I'm a fairly late riser so I'm not likely to be on early in the morning.

So I travelled through the portal at the village--seems the spawn portal's close enough that it just acts as a quick trip back currently. I also added the few beetroot seeds I found to the spawn farm. Need to find a skelly spawner to get a good supply of bonemeal.

EDIT: Aaand I found some wolves, and tamed a bunch with the bones they were kind enough to provide themselves. Thanks, fellas!

I've found every kind of tree sapling so today I'll start a huge tree plantation so we can have access to all kinds of neat wood colors.

Guess I don't need to search out saplings myself, then. I noticed you didn't have melons at spawn, though. Where's the jungle?

Found a witch hut, but it's a fair ways away. Haven't seen a mesa, ice spikes, mushroom island, or ocean monument yet.

If you want I can link you a seed map. Closest jungle I found was at 3000 4400 >.< I grabbed a few saps and cocoa and left. And yes we didn't find melon yet. Mostly just maraxas and me currently. I had a friend playing a bit but she went to ftb and LoL. I don't really dungeon and maraxas is busy building a base on hell. Gonna make a bridge from my house to the community enchanter.

A seed map would be great; I've been circumnavigating the ocean to explore, and it's taking a long while.

There's currently no 1.9 seed mapper but 1.9 isn't officially out yet and shouldn't change the biome generation as far as I know.

What. The hell. Is up with monster spawning in this snapshot?

I went to the desert to hunt endermen for pearls, but over multiple nights, not a single hostile mob spawned anywhere within view of my platform, and a witch that was present when I got there but way more than 32 blocks away never despawned, even when I ran away well over 128 blocks.

So I figured I might as well take advantage of no hostiles and went to map out the spawn chunks, and found something like ten creepers all lurking together in the same place.

What?!

I kinda like the refreshing variance of the glitches of snapshots, but it will be nice when 1.9 is out.
