Just a place to put weird experiences I guess.

So for my whole life, whenever I work out I go partially blind in both eyes...like a fog that I can't see through in various sections of my vision that lasts about 30 mins to an hour. Since taking up social smoking over here, I've discovered that smoking a cigarette clears it up immediately. Weird...

Huh, that is weird all right.

Let's see, for me I guess the weirdest thing that happened to me is ever since I got hit in the head by a pneumatic wrench, I haven't been able to tell the difference between sauce and gravy.

I don't know if I can contribute to this topic without divulging into my fetishes.

I can bend my right arm 270% back behind my head.

I can summon and banish rain clouds. It's a talent that runs in our family.

I can clench certain muscles in my nostrils and block 95% of my sense of smell. Habitual use of those muscles has made it hard for me to properly sneeze, the air usually exits through my mouth instead of my nose.

Uh...doesn't the air typically exit your mouth in a sneeze...thus the whole "cover your mouth" thing?...that's some next level weirdness.

Our TV over here comes from India. This morning I came into work and "The Four" was on. It was dubbed by Indian's speaking English...it blew my mind.

this reminds me of a thing I can do that I have always wondered if other people could do too.

I can put my tongue up above my soft palette. like, slide it back behind my uvula and flip it up into my nasopharynx. I can feel my tonsils with it, and also the back of my nasal cavities. there's these bulbs there that seem to swell up when I get congested and I have no idea what they're called. there's also a thing on the roof above the soft palette that feels like a giant tonsil. looking it up I thought it was an adenoid pad, but those apparently are supposed to disappear before adulthood so maybe not.

anyway point is I can put my tongue over the roof of my mouth and touch the back end of my nasal passages. is that a thing?

There's supposed to be some air that goes through the nasal passages to eject the built up mucus and/or irritants.


Regarding Razor's thing, I can't do that. I have tissue connecting at the bottom of my gums to about an inch from the tip of my tongue and back, so my tongue can only reach to the beginning of the soft palate.

I can lick the tip of my elbow. (For some reason kids like to share the "fun fact" that it's physically impossible to lick your elbow, but I have unusually flexible shoulders.)

One time as a kid I was playing soccer and I was dehydrated and dizzy and then my entire vision suddenly turned red. It went back to normal after I sat down for a minute, but it was pretty terrifying and I still have no idea what happened.

I think once as a kid I tucked my tongue up into the nasopharynx, but I just tried and can't do it. I do have a devil's tail hanging from the back of my throat though. My uvula tapers of to a thin line then flares out into a spade-like shape and hangs down enough to touch my tongue. I can actually breathe out real quick to blow it to the roof of my mouth and catch it with my tongue.
