When the Spider Staff is used to cast Web or Spider Climb, does it still require concentration on the caster/wielders part?

Maybe someone who hasn't spent most of his life in the city should be looking for slidable rocks, too.

It's effectively a multi-use scroll. You still have to use your action to activate one of it's abilities.

So yes to casting multiple concentration spells with it or no?

Pretty sure it behaves in the same way as any other spell, except you don't have to expend a spell slot, so you must still maintain concentration on the effect.

ok thanks. I thought so but had visions of Vaeca casting spider climb on everyone so they can just skitter around on the cliffs avoiding the orcs. But yeah makes sense.
