Don't worry about it, Splinter! There's a reason Mobuis is being called the Salty One. He's just who he is and that's probably a main reason of his ban here on NGA... With all due respect he did act harsh in that situation, there's absolutely nothing wrong on your side.

You can turn off Damage Effects (and probably should, along with other newbie-friendly options) in Game Options menu.

Its worth noting that sometimes network issues cause a miscommunication that one player is watching combat effects, when they are not.

Don't worry about it too much. I liked the game and don't think you did something wrong there. Mobius can get very salty and many people here seem to find it ok. Even better, it's his trademark. I like the fact that he just says what's on his mind but I don't like it when he gets too salty against people. When he does I usually stop watching, which I think he's fine with too. Just like the softer version of him, for me it's more fun to watch. That way he's more occupied with the game and you can learn a lot from him. But insulting people is imo a bit of a cheap shot on the internet. Many people seem to like that, but I guess I'll never understand it. If someone insults you and you defend yourself ok, then I get it. But getting salty for no reason is just stupid imho. I respect Mobius for what he does, because he's got a lot of good content out there and I learned much from watching his videos, but I don't always agree with his style.

Pretty much. But, I'd do the exact same to Mobius every time, including turning on Combat Animations. And I hate them almost as much as he does.

In a tourney, if you don't want to watch your opponent take their last turn, concede. He should have done that instead of complaining. Not his way, got it, but still.

That mana base combined with his mana requirements wins games for his opponent.

He had 2 cards in hand and all of his mana untapped on the last turn, maybe there isn't any cards in his deck that save him there, but I also don't memorize decklists before the match. I just don't like the "are you f***ing 2 years old?" Comment. I lucked out with the walkers being toward the top of my deck both games, but his decklist also looks like complete sh** which isn't helping his cause either
